"I promise to come back as soon as I can!" He declared, smiling. And for a fleeting moment, Lucas caught a glimpse of April's neck and remembered something

"Didn't I tell you it was too expensive. I can't put on something that's expensive enough to buy a well furnished villa. Do you want them to cut off my neck?" April playfully rolled her eyes.
Lucas laughed out at his wife's response. "And that's one of the reasons why you got punished yesterday. You dared to make me jealous! You have never even told me that I am the best husband, and yet you told grandfather he was the best. Now you have the audacity to reject my gift?" He scolded playfully but April took it seriously as she instantly began feeling guilty with her head lowered a bit and her face dulled.
