"But you're not feeling too well. You look pale and drained right now." Ruby sat down on the bed watching April put on her heels.
"I really want to go. He bought the ticket so we could go watch a movie and enjoy, we can't waste it just like that"
"And do you think if he was at home right now, he would allow you to go, while you're feeling sick?" Ruby asked
"Well, he's not at home now. And since he wanted us to go out and enjoy ourselves, then there's nothing wrong with that." April convinced
Ruby sighed "are you— perhaps pregnant?" Ruby blurted out a question that made April's heart skip.
"When was your last period?" Ruby asked softly with a serious expression. Remembering the way April has been irritated by a lot of things and has been feeling nauseous since she woke up in the morning, she guessed if April was already pregnant. Her symptoms are similar to that of a pregnant woman.
