"You wanted to say something?" Lucas quickly asked
"Yes–, I just wanted to say thank you. You— arranged for Ruby to come stay with me and you also bought a movie ticket. I wasn't expecting it" she muttered softly with a smile
"You don't need to thank me. I just want to make you happy." He also smiled
"Darling, you should go to sleep now, it's getting late." April just remembered they've been talking for a while so she quickly urged him to go to sleep.
"Alright, I'll listen to my wife. Now that I've spoken with you, I feel relieved and better. I'm ending the call now so you can go have breakfast."
"Ok, Good night hubby!" April muttered and blushed
"Have a nice day, wifey!" He also chuckled in his thick voice before ending the call.
April sighed and felt bad for not telling Lucas, but she wanted to confirm if she was really pregnant.
