Jayden's pov
"Breathe in, breathe out", my therapist Dr Blake slowly told me.
My eyes were closed as I did what I was told, my best friend Leonard stood in the corner of my room with his hands in his pocket, from the way he stared at Dr Blake it was obvious he didn't want us to continue.
"Is this really necessary", he finally asked and then he came close to were I was lying down, my eyes were still closed.
"shhh Mr Anderson, you are disturbing my client, Mr Blake said placing his finger on his lips without taking his eyes off me and I could hear Leo scoff.
"You have been repeating this procedure for like 20 minutes now", he turned to me with concern."Jay do you want to continue with this"?, he asked but I didn't reply him.The only thing I wanted to do was to concentrate.
"Trust me Mr Anderson after this section he will be able to sleep again without having nightmares or seeing things", he said trying to convince Leonard as he took his note and a pen from my table.
"so breathing in and out can really cure him from insomnia??, Leo asked in disbelief, I was already getting tired of their argument ."Your drugs didn't even help a bit, he only sleeps for an hour in a day, after you promised us the last time it would work", he added.
"Look Mr Anderson this section have helped so many of my clients.I was about to go to the next step if you hadn't interrupt the process", his tone and choice of words were becoming strident and I didn't like it.
"Leo", I slowly called out in a soft but cold voice."Let him continue", my eyes were still shut and my body remained still in an anatomical position only my head move a bit.
Leonard had no choice but to sit and watch the therapist as he continued.
"Take a deep breathe and exhale, now tell me what do you see"?, he asked.
"Darkness ", I replied firmly.
"Concentrate Mr Coleman, leave your anger and pains behind.Focus on your main purpose which is freedom. Breathe in and out ", he said again in which I obeyed
"Now tell me Mr Coleman what do you see", his voice deepens.
"I am in a room, but I am not familiar with it" I slowly replied.
"What else"?.
"Nothing ", I shoke my head.
"Focus Mr Coleman, what else do you see".
I told a deep breath, I was about to shake my head for the second time when I paused.
"Wait, I see a light at the door but I am not alone", for some reason my heart skipped a beat.
"Who is this person to you?", he asked
"My sister", I swallowed hard, my heart dropped as she turned towards me. She held the teddy bear I gave her on the night she died which was her birthday
"What else Mr Coleman ?"
"she is moving away from the door going towards the hallway", I replied him slowly. My lips began to tremble due to reasons unknown to me. I wrapped my hands around myself as I followed her slowly and quietly.
"what is happening", Leo asked looking worried, he immediately stood up and wanted to come towards my bed but Dr Blake stopped him.
"Listen to me Mr Coleman, do not follow your sister. Stay wherever you are, just follow the sound of my voice it will lead you back here", he assured.
"I can't, she is about to fall off a cliff and I need to save her", a tear came of my eyes and I clenched my fist.
Leo could only watch all this unfold because Dr Blake had earlier restraint him by blocking his path with his hands.
"You have to let go. You are only holding on to her because you are guilty and in pains", he said but his voice began to fade away. The only thing I could hear in my head was a loud tinnitus sound.
I held one of her hand so tight like my life depends on it, while the other of her hand clench tightly to her teddy bear. Her eyes were screaming for help as I watched helplessly thinking of a way to get us both out of here.
I looked over the cliff and saw a very big black hole coming together to form a something that looks like a big tsunami swallowing anything in it's path.My trembling hands betrayed me as I let go of her hand causing her to fall into the unending black hole.
My heart raced, threatening to pop out of my chest as I watched her slowly vanished into the wind. I felt a wave of panic wash over me as her screams filled the air, causing me to cover my ears immediately.
I stared at my hands which was now covered with blood stain, the same hands that was covered with blood on the day she was murdered. My stomach twisted with pain and regret.
"No, I wasn't going to let this happen again. Even if this wasn't real, I would make sure she is safe", I assured myself.Without thinking I also jumped into the black hole, letting the wind take me to wherever it took my sister to.
I didn't scream neither was I afraid. I only covered my eyes and was ready for whatever outcome this situation could bring but instead of landing on the floor or on a hard surface like I had imagined, I landed softly on a chair.
I turned around immediately hoping to find my sister but she was no where to be seen, it was as if she just vanished without a trace. I observed my environment and I realized I was in a castle, and in front of me were a group of red eyed vampires kneeling and bowing their heads at the same time before me.
I didn't know what was going on, "do they take me as their king?" I asked myself in confusion.
My wandering eyes landed on my clothing, that was when I realized I was putting on a silk robe, which I believe were clothing worn by kings in the ancient era. I instinctively moved my hands towards my head and I noticed there was a crown on my head.
"What was going on?", I asked myself, I still didn't understand why I could be here of all places and my sister was nowhere to be found.
I felt a soft tap on my shoulder from my right hand side, I quickly turned to see who it was. Right there was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen smiling warmly beside me. This was not the first time I had seen her in my dreams but I have never gotten this close to her .
"Isabella", her name left my lips like a whisper. She smiled even more brightly, her hazel eyes spark and stared deep into my soul that I couldn't look away. I was mesmerized by her beauty and her smile which was captivating that I failed to notice the sudden smoke that filled the air in the castle.
My gaze shifted to the door which was where the smoke gathered. A plume of smoke rose into the sky mixing with the clouds. The appearance of the sky changed, looking as like it was about to rain.Within seconds the weather changed from broad daylight to total darkness.
One by one the candles in the castle began to lit up without anyone turning them on, this send shiver down my spine as I watched in awe.
The smoke began to move, covering and destroying everything in it's path including the people kneeling before me, I began to sweat profusely
I watch in horror as their lifeless body fell to the floor. I quickly covered my nose with my bare hands as if it could stop the effect of the smoke on me, i immediately turned to look at Isabella but she was gone as if she vanished into thin air.
