"Hoo…hoo…"
Naruto, panting heavily, ducked into a tunnel and set down Yukie, who was still enjoying herself on his back.
"Phew… that was a close call…"
Yukie sighed in relief, patting her chest.
"Close call?"
Naruto looked at Yukie, feeling frustrated. Judging by that expression, she looks like she wants to do it again…
"Vroom…"
Just as things had quieted down, the sound of a horn blared, growing louder as it approached.
"What's going on?"
Naruto gasped, "Damn it! One problem after another."
"Oh no, Naruto, it's a train! Run!"
Yukie cried out, her voice filled with unmistakable urgency.
"I know!"
Naruto bent down, "Get on my back, quick!"
"O-okay..."
Yukie scrambled onto Naruto's back, her arms wrapping tightly around his neck.
"Run!"
Yukie wriggled anxiously on Naruto's back.
"I know!"
Naruto replied and darted forward.
"Naruto, it's coming, it's coming!"
Listening to the increasingly close siren, Yukie reminded him anxiously.
"I know, don't move around!"
Slapping Yukie's pert buttocks with the back of his hand, Naruto shouted.
"You, you…"
Stunned by Naruto's blow, Yukie stared blankly at him. How could this guy hit her there?
"Whoosh!"
The final burst propelled them out of the tunnel. Naruto jumped onto the grass beside it, setting Yukie down and gasping for breath.
"Rumble…"
The train that had emerged from the tunnel gradually slowed. With a screeching halt, a stern-faced middle-aged man stepped off the train.
"Heh heh, Yukie, did you bring the Hexagonal Crystal?"
Kazahana Dōtō looked at Yukie, whose body was trembling slightly, with a look of arrogance as he asked the question.
"Your Highness, are you alright?"
Sandayu arrived at that moment, his eyes narrowing. "Kazahana Dōtō?"
"Heh heh, you old coot, you're still alive?"
Kazahana Dōtō grinned, looking at Sandayu with disdain as he approached from a distance.
"Kazahana Dōtō, you bastard! You won't take Her Highness!"
Sandayu drew the sword from his waist and aimed it at Kazahana Dōtō.
"Heh heh, old man, we'll see if you have the ability!"
Kazahana Dōtō chuckled darkly.
"Swoosh, swoosh..."
The train's outer shell peeled away, revealing the dark bullet holes within, and a volley of cold arrows shot out.
"Earth Style: Earth Flow Wall!"
Dodging in front of Sandayu and the others, Naruto slammed a palm onto the ground.
"Rumble..."
An earthen wall rose from the ground, intercepting the dense hail of arrows.
"Boom!"
After the last arrow was fired, Naruto withdrew the Chakra he had been continuously channeling into the earth wall, and the wall collapsed immediately.
"Haha, the Hexagonal Crystal is almost mine!"
Kazahana Dōtō, looking maniacal, had grabbed Yukie and was climbing into a helicopter descending from the sky.
"Damn it!"
Naruto glared at Yukie, who was being dragged into the cabin, and clenched his fists.
The situation had been critical, and the Earth Style: Earth Flow Wall had blocked Naruto's view, allowing Yukie to be captured.
"Naruto, what are you doing?"
Sakura shouted anxiously from behind, watching Naruto climb onto the fuselage.
"I'm fine, don't worry!"
Naruto's voice carried from afar.\n\n...
Carefully climbing on the fuselage, Naruto moved closer to an open window and flipped inside.
"Yukie!"
Seeing Yukie being held hostage by Kazahana Dōtō, Naruto called out anxiously.
"Heh heh, brat, I know you're strong, so don't make any rash moves. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind using this sharp dagger to slash Yukie's neck, haha..."
Kazahana Dōtō held a dagger, which he'd found from somewhere, against Yukie's neck. The cold glint of the blade sent a chill down Naruto's spine.
Damn it, I really can't act rashly like this. If I'm not careful, Yukie's carotid artery will be cut, and the consequences will be unimaginable.
Naruto wanted nothing more than to beat Kazahana Dōtō a thousand times, but he could only hold back his anger and ask, "So...what do you want?"
"Don't resist, let my man put this on you."
Kazahana Dōtō gestured with his eyes, signaling his subordinate to put the Chakra Absorber on Naruto.
"Alright, I agree!"
Taking a deep breath, Naruto calmly watched Kazahana Dōtō's underling approach him.
"Heh heh, very good!"
Kazahana Dōtō nodded with satisfaction.
"Clang!"
Allowing the man to put the Chakra Absorber on him, Naruto didn't make any futile resistance.
"Ugh…"
The moment the Chakra Absorber was attached to his stomach, Naruto felt his Chakra being rapidly drained. He groaned, his body becoming unsteady.
"Hmph hmph, now you little brat pose no threat."
Kazahana Dōtō released Yukie. "Now, hand over the Hexagonal Crystal."
"Kazahana Dōtō, don't even think about it! I won't give the Hexagonal Crystal to someone like you!"
Yukie's face was resolute.
"Swish!"
Grabbing a Kunai, Yukie swiftly stabbed towards Kazahana Dōtō.
"Hmph! How presumptuous!"
Kazahana Dōtō snorted dismissively, letting Yukie attack.
"Swish!"
Rushing out fiercely, Naruto embraced Yukie. He then ripped the Chakra Absorber from his stomach and crushed it. "Oh my, this thing is really greedy! It actually absorbed so much of my Chakra!"
"You brat, how is that possible? Land, land quickly!"
Kazahana Dōtō was startled and immediately urged the pilot to descend.
He was joking, if they fought here, Kazahana Dōtō wouldn't gain any advantage, since his ninjutsu was all large-scale.
Not stopping him, Naruto held Yukie and watched the flustered Kazahana Dōtō as if he were a clown.
Now that Yukie was by his side, Naruto had nothing to worry about.
After that, what Naruto needed to do was beat Kazahana Dōtō until even his mother wouldn't recognize him.
