(Mikael's POV)
[Several Days Later]
"Alright!!" Xebec said as he stood in front of the ship, "We have several tasks at hand now!"
We were at sea, making our way back to the New World. The entire group was on the deck as the winds were taking us forward. Xebec was seemingly in a good mood, having just recently found a hoard of treasure by pure chance. My guess is that he must've stolen information or a map to find it.
He said we were going to use the treasure to fund our activities from now on and that we were going to get ourselves in serious trouble from now on. The group wasn't an official pirate crew, not yet, at least from what I understood.
I had spent weeks, almost an entire month training to get better at armament haki and I had just gotten the hang of it. I would spar with all of these imbeciles, from Rocks to even Shiki and I was getting better at coating my limbs with Armament.
I have only used armament in my Full-Beast Form, and I was able to coat my entire fore-limb for a good amount of time. I used it against a sparring match against Xebec and he clashed with my claws with a stronger swing of his. It still hurt like hell, and I felt like he could've beaten my ass worse than our first encounter.
But at the very least, I knew armament and was able to use it outside of my dragon form. I unlocked a new technique that was pretty damn strong from my only use of it. I didn't want to cause more damage to the island after constantly sparring with these monsters, so I said I wasn't going to use it again. I think I can be useful outside of my Zoan transformation, which is good, it is exactly what Xebec wanted.
And speaking what he wants, I don't know what he would want at this moment. I know he wants to go to Elbaf and try to convince King Harald to join his crew. His end goal is to overthrow the Government and become King of The World. But right now, in the moment, I don't know what he would want to keep us on the path ahead.
"We're going to have a run-in with a certain guy." Xebec said, "He owes me a favor and I'm going to cash it in! By making him join us!"
"Who might that be?" I asked
"Don Marlon." He looked at me, "He's got a good network of information throughout the seas, not as good as this other woman that I know is avoiding me, but Don Marlon can handle his own. He's useful, we'll need him aboard."
"Hm, aside from muscle, we do need people who would have some use in a ship, Rocks." I heard Stussy say, "I can't be the only one who cooks, have me as a basic stereotype."
"Hey, I offered to cook." Shiki said
"Your cooking is terrible." Stussy retorted
"Fuck's sake, nothing can please you, woman!!" He shouted
"There are other Pirates who would prove useful to us." Newgate said, "But I doubt if we'll be able to keep them in line."
"Yea." Ganzui said as he leaned on the railing, "Either way, what's the move after Don Marlon, Rocks?"
"Vohaha!" Rocks said, "We just keep going forward!"
"Forward, huh?" Stussy said, "Well, at the very least, we have a powerful monster that we can use to shield ourselves."
"I'm not your decoy." I said with a frown
"I'm just joking~" She gave me a wink
"Hm..." I said as I leaned back, "If you say so."
"Alright!" Xebec said, "Let's just focus on the path ahead! We recruit Don Marlon, have him pull some strings, and we get inside a certain nation! In there, we procure some weapons and materials to build us a better and sturdy ship. From there, the goal is Elbaf!"
To go to Elbaf and try and recruit Harald is what he wants. From there on, we claim Hachinosu and the Rocks Pirate Crew eventually forms.
"Elbaf?" Newgate asked
"Yea." Rocks walked over to the center of the deck, "We need to get that guy to join us, their King!"
"I don't know about that." Shiki said with a scowl, "A giant? We already have this imbecile's dragon form, why do we need another cumbersome fool?"
"Keep talking." I warned, "You're getting on my nerves."
"Do something about it!" He smirked
"Enough." Newgate said, "Let Rocks finish what he was going to say."
"Harald is strong." Rocks said, "If he joins forces with us, we'll be unstoppable!!"
I nodded, "If you say so."
"Oh, but I do!" He said, "Vohahaha! You don't know what he's capable of!"
I rubbed my neck, "I have an idea." I said, "He's pretty powerful, I must admit."
"Oh?" He said, "Is that so? How would you know?"
"I heard he clashed with a certain individual in the Holy Land not too long ago." I said, "The impact was able to clear out a good portion of the city up there."
He smirked, "Oh, so you heard about that?"
"If he can clash with you with ease like that." I said with a serious expression, "Then he's strong. But even so, I don't think he'll join us."
"You never know until we try!" He said, "Vohahaha!"
"I know." I said, "I'm willing to give it a try."
"Alright, I'm going to take a nap." He said as he walked inside, "Get us to the island on the map, Stussy."
"Geez...." Stussy sighed, "A girl can't get a break in this ship...."
"Who told you to join?" Shiki said with a cackle
"Oh shut it." She rolled her eyes
