The night breeze was gentle, and the round moon hung in the sky like a giant pancake. Moonlight illuminated the farm as Bunnelby hurriedly devoured a frosted cake, shielding it from the wind with his paws. Mime Jr. was equally enthusiastic, showing the infinite potential of a Fairy-type's sweet tooth.
Kaito watched them, but his mind was elsewhere, still reeling from the shock of his latest reward: the Hisui Secret Realm.
The Hisui region—the ancient precursor to the Sinnoh region from a thousand years ago. A land of myth, ancient ruins, and unique regional Pokémon forms. This was the first time the system had granted an entire dimension as a reward. Unable to contain his curiosity, Kaito finished his meal and, with a single thought, vanished from the farm.
Kaito's vision blurred, and he suddenly felt soft sand beneath his boots and the salty sting of a sea breeze. He stood on Prelude Beach.
The system notified:
Task Completed: Set foot in the Hisui Secret Realm.
Reward: Title (Hisui Explorer).
Hisui Explorer: Increases favor with Hisui Pokémon and triggers events more easily.

A white light flashed, and a small, blue otter-like Pokémon appeared.

Oshawott immediately hugged Kaito's leg, his smooth, bald scalp gleaming in the moonlight. As they explored, they reached the site where Jubilife Village should have been. It was empty. This was a private, open-world version of Hisui, devoid of humans.
Suddenly, an Aipom dropped from a tree, mocking them. Kaito decided to test his new partner. "Oshawott, use Sacred Sword!"
Oshawott grabbed the scalchop from his belly. It glowed with orange-red energy. He hurled it like a projectile, knocking the Aipom out instantly.
Kaito recalled Oshawott and summoned Reshiram. He leaped onto the dragon's back, and they soared toward a sparse forest. In the center lay a withered, eerie flowerbed.
Kaito raised his hand, unleashing a torrent of Power of Life. The colorful energy flowed like a rainbow into the parched soil. The flowers regained their luster instantly, and a pillar of light erupted into the sky.
"Mii~"
A small, white hedgehog-like Pokémon emerged. It was Shaymin (Land Form)!

Level: 102 (Divine-tier)
Ability: Natural Cure
Potential: Divine-tier
Shaymin, the "Flower God," looked at Kaito with gratitude. Kaito knelt and stroked the soft grass on its back. "I have a large farm with beautiful flower fields. Would you like to come with me?" Shaymin smiled and chirped—it was willing.

Back on the farm, the full moon reached its zenith. Kaito approached his Ursaring and presented a Peat Block he had drawn from his Hisui items.
"This is for you," Kaito said.
Under the light of the full moon, Ursaring began to glow. His body shifted, becoming sturdier and more quadrupedal, his fur turning a mix of brown and peat-gray. A yellow moon-and-cloud pattern appeared on his forehead.

With the birth of Ursaluna, Kaito had successfully brought an extinct Hisuian evolution back to the modern world.
Kaito has secured a Divine-tier Shaymin, a Champion-tier Oshawott, and his first Hisuian evolution! With the Ecological Power now at his disposal, will he use it to purify the polluted areas near Fu City, or return to Hisui to find the Lords and Ladies of the ancient wilds?
