Liu Xuan tensed, her hand trembling. Is this a Box Art Legendary Pokémon? Can Kaito and his team handle a disaster-level entity showing such hostility?
Kaito narrowed his eyes. A single Glastrier was no threat, but the legend says that when the King and Steed become one, they possess the true strength of a God.
"You are not worth my effort," Kaito said indifferently to the horse. "Call your master out!"
The King Descends
A sharp, pale neigh echoed. From a nearby stone cave, a pair of majestic blue eyes snapped open. A figure emerged through the swirling blizzard: a small, deer-like Pokémon with a massive, dark green crown-like bud on its head.
Calyrex stood beside its steed, its voice resonating like a grand bell in Kaito's mind.
"I am the lord of this land. You, too, are a lord. Kings do not meet as equals without a trial. We shall have a match; the loser will submit."
Kaito set down the Swinub he was holding and looked up. "Alright."
Calyrex leaped onto Glastrier. A purplish-blue rein appeared, connecting them. The bud on its head erupted in light, and its wings lengthened like a regal cloak.

Ability: As One (Unites Unnerve and Chilling Neigh)

Truth vs. Abundance
Kaito walked forward, his black and gold cloak billowing. "Reshiram!"
The White Dragon roared, its aura surpassing even the combined King. The two boundless energies collided, making the very air boil. Calyrex summoned a massive ice pillar—a missile of frost that could pierce a mountain.
Reshiram countered with a pillar of Truth Flame. Boom! The ice melted into nothingness, and the flames surged toward the King.
Calyrex used its psychic power to launch a barrage of cold-glowing ice spears. Kaito raised his hand, pouring his own Truth Power into Reshiram. A wall of ultimate fire swept the field, vaporizing the spears, the snow, and the ice layers in one go.
When the steam cleared, Calyrex dismounted and bowed deeply.
"King, I am willing to serve you."

"The future?" Kaito asked.
"I have seen fragments," Calyrex said solemnly. "In a distant era, you are at the center of the world, surrounded by all the Gods of myth, wielding supreme power. In that vision, the Gods did not call you 'Master' or 'Doctor'."
"They called you—The Creator Lord."
Kaito has achieved Champion-tier strength and heard a prophecy of his own godhood! With the Sacred Ash providing a literal second life and the Power of Faith scaling with his fame, will Kaito return to the farm to prepare for his next "ascension," or will he seek out the other steed, Spectrier?
