Xi and Anna joined Jun-lee and Seul-gi on the rooftop. They looked at the night sky shining brightly, then looked at the lighthouse at the dock using the light. Jun-lee lit up a joint for only this occasion. He never liked drugs, except for beer and cigarettes; he thought it might kill him, but now he accepts that. He began feeling euphoric but saw everyone fading away. He woke up, looking at everyone in his dorm. He saw that Seul-gi left, just as intended. Instead of feeling down, he was relieved he moved on so he couldn't start a scene. He walked up to the balcony, the one where Seul-gi comforted him. He remembered what happened last night, and their final conversation. "Jun-lee, are you gonna find love?" Seul-gi asked. "Stop worrying about me.", Jun-lee told her. They began talking about their lives, as Jun-lee talked about his past life, Seul-gi told him her backstory. "Seul-gi, you know I still like you, right? But don't worry, I like everyone.", Jun-lee said. Seul-gi laughed and hugged him. They went to karaoke and sang their hearts out. After karaoke, they went to the balcony. It was their favorite spot ever since they'd smoked together (Remembering Times (Chapter 5)). They were relaxing, and Seul-gi gave him a joint again for one last time. Back to the present, he smiled after remembering everything. He was happy the three months he was in the desert finally paid off. He got ready, but then the intercom rang, "Meeting right now, report to the meeting room now!" Jun-lee was confused, for some reason. He got to the meeting room, seeing everyone there. "Good morning. I hope you are doing well. I have bad news: SK-B (Busan) has had an impact of destruction from The Devil's Mask, the fourth strongest bodyguard. He's navigating a war, and what would be our final war.", the director said. "All Royal Eyes users, please gear up and get ready. Also, for Langit's group, we got a new nurse; her name is Jeong Woo-Joo. Alright, let's save the world", she said. "I assigned The Devil's Mask to Sasaki's troop.", the director said. Jun-lee was confused but maintained his emotions. As soon as the meeting was over, he ran to the director. "What the fuck? It's supposed to be us.", Jun-lee said, confused. "I'm assigning a different team. You haven't controlled your powers yet", the director said. "I have; I was training my RER. I got someone to help me.", Jun-lee said, slipping out the last sentence. The director walked up to him, angrily, and slapped him in the face. "I fucking told you to stay away from that bastard.", the director said. Jun-lee felt the pain of a protective sister. Jun-lee almost felt angry, but understood everything, and smiled. "I'm sorry, but he's the only one who can help me, because he knows everything about this.", Jun-lee said calmly. He saw her crying, and he went to comfort her.
I Am
Everyone got a week off to rest for the final war against Judas, marking a revolutionary end to this apocalypse. Jun-lee got geared with a special uniform due to his RER. It was a navy skin-tight jumpsuit, covering the whole body except his neck and head, covered with an energyproof metallic upper body vest. They gave him an electronic helmet. He lay down in his bed and looked at the window. "It's crazy the world won't look like this anymore.", he quietly said. He woke up at the beach and screamed Seokjin's name. "So let me get this straight: you want me to explain Royal Eyes better. Ha-eun can explain it better than me.", Seokjin told him. "She was in the S.A.I.D. a few years back, and has the same curse as the director, right?", Jun-lee asked, while Seokjin nodded. "Coincidentally, she's going to sleep now on the plane.", Seokjin said. Seokjin and Jun-lee teleported to the plane. They walked to Ha-eun and Seul-gi's seats and saw them sleeping, leaning towards each other. They opened Ha-eun's forehead and climbed in, like holograms, going inside humans. They saw Ha-eun relaxing at a bench. She was drinking Coke alone, wearing a full tuxedo, like a groom's suit. "Hey, Ha-eun, want to engage Seul-gi, huh?" Jun-lee said, chuckling. "I don't know what her reaction will be.", Ha-eun said. "Seokjin knows. Ask him.", Jun-lee said. Ha-eun laughed. "It's not like he's here.", Ha-eun said. That's when Seokjin walked out, making Ha-eun activate her Royal Eyes. "Don't worry, he's with us. He'll help defeat The Devil's Mask. We just need your help; explain the Royal Eyes to me.", Jun-lee said. Ha-eun thought of it a bit. Here is a better explanation than (The S.A.I.D. Organization (3rd chapter)): The Royal Eyes is a power system using energy. The amount of energy you have can determine extra powers you have, like Seokjin having Blood Manipulation. Jun-lee has RER, the rarest Royal Eyes. He got it because he was a Royal Eyes user, but he lost his eyes during the massacre and was transplanted with a non-Royal Eyes user. And since he is not supposed to use Royal Eyes due to being the inventor of Judas, it increased never used Royal Eyes again.
