Li Meiran sauntered in, his expression lazy and sharp. "I heard you were injured. Doesn't look serious. No missing limbs. Disappointing."
Song Yue shot him a look. "Sorry to ruin your expectations. I'm alive and well."
"Tch. I rushed back to see you, and this is the gratitude I get?" Li Meiran smirked.
"Get lost," Song Yue snapped. "As far away as possible."
Li Meiran stepped closer, amused. "Teach me how."
"I won't!"
"Then I'll demonstrate," he said lightly, clearly provoking her. "Bed, sofa, bathroom, wall. Practice makes perfect."
Song Yue's face twitched. Nothing good ever came out of this man's mouth.
Suddenly, an idea struck her. She raised her voice sweetly. "Cousin, Lord Meiran is looking for you."
Li Meiran frowned just as the door opened again.
"Lord Meiran?" Song Weisha rushed in, then froze, realizing she'd walked straight into the room.
"I… I was just passing by," she said stiffly. "I heard Song Yue calling."
