As soon as she finished he took it from her and climbed up the stairs to Leila's room as he unlock the door he saw she was sleeping , he put that plate on coffee table and walk closer to the bed. Right there was sleeping the girl he searched for years,the way she's sleeping there made his stomach do a weird dance he wanted lie down on that bed and hold her to tight to his heart and kiss her forehead. But to now, she's just the girl he choosed to marry. But he sworn to himself that once he got that damn marriage certificate he'll hold her every chance get.to now, he simply kissed her forehead before tapping on her hand softly to wake her up.

As the first bite hit her taste buds her eyes welled up with a river of tears but she hold her self as she took few more bites she failed to hold her tears anymore.few hiccups turn into a wail of sobs that caught Carmine off guard he didn't know what was happening neither how to comfort a crying person specially a girl,In real she was crying because this was the first real meal she ate in years, Usually she had to wait until Victor and Milly finish their meals then Victor would allow her to eat but not the grand meal like them,some leftover that left for maids before they dismiss for the day they would leave a bigger peace for Leila out of pity but still in real that was too little for a growing child.
Carmine was confuse not knowing what to do so he quickly pulled out his phone and googled 'How to comfort a crying girl' there was different option like buying gifts,showing affection,listening to the and many more but out of curiosity he stood up went around the table and pull her hand making her stand up then he pulled her towards the balcony he sat on the single chair and pulled her into his arms letting her cry as much as she want while rubbing soothing circles on her back.
For Leila this felt like a home she never had she buried her head in his chest soaking his suit with her tears as she cried he wiped her tears with one hand while other one kept rubbing circles on her back letting her calm down
after thirty minutes he saw her body went limp on him , as he stare down he saw she was sleeping peacefully on her chest .he still didn't know the actual reason why she cried but he knew he did the right thing to comfort her.He stayed like that for few minutes memorizing the moment bit longer then he get up quietly not waking her up,then quietly went inside and lay her down on the bed he stared at her a bit longer before covering her with a blanket. after confirming she was comfortable he closed the balcony door as quiet as possible then he took the food tray that was barely touched with concern face knowing she didn't eat enough but didn't want wake her up.So,he quietly left the room clicking lock soft as possible
As he left the room he got a message from a unknown number that he almost ignored it,but something in his mind told him to opened it.As he saw what was the message about he didn't flinch but his features turn stern
