Chapter 1 - "THE GIRL BEHIND THE TEARS"

START!!!!

PARA:1

Aiyla Koç was a rising star — not a club singer, but one of Istanbul's most beloved young voices. She lived in Istanbul, studied at Istanbul University, and shared almost every moment of her life with the boy she loved… Yaman Karadeniz, her classmate and her best friend.

Their friendship had slowly melted into love. Five years of a bond so deep that even the walls of their university recognized them.

One afternoon, they sat together near the wide staircase of the university. Aiyla leaned into his chest, her arms wrapped around him as if protecting her entire world.

"Yaman," she whispered softly, "we've been in love for five years now… and this is our last semester. Aren't you going to give our relationship a name? Why don't we get married?"

Yaman looked at her for a long moment, then kissed her gently on her cheek.

"Don't worry," he murmured. "I'll never leave you."

Aiyla tightened her hug."Then talk to your mom and dad. I don't want to lose you, Yaman. I've already lost everyone else… I can't lose you."

Yaman frowned slightly."Lose? What have you lost?"

PARA:2

Aiyla shook her head quickly."No, no… I'm just saying I can't lose you."

Yaman laughed softly and tapped her nose."Okay, okay. I'll talk to them."

The next day when they met, she immediately asked,"So? Did you talk to your parents?"

Yaman hesitated."Hmm… I asked my dad. He agreed."

Aiyla fell silent, lost in thought… then slowly asked,"And what about your mom? What did she say?"

He sighed."I haven't talked to her yet. Didn't get a chance."

"So you mean… you'll never ask her? You'll just keep avoiding it?"

Yaman held her cheek gently."Cutie… I promise I'll talk today. Don't be angry. And your dad — he doesn't live here, right? When will you introduce me to him? You always say he lives with your uncle."

Aiyla paused, thinking of something.

"Aiylaaa?" Yaman waved a hand in front of her face."Madam, earth to Aiyla?"

She blinked."Huh? Yes, yes… I'll introduce you. I also need to tell you something important."

YAMAN SAID:"What?"

"Later," he replied. "Let's not talk here. I'm hungry....."

PARA:3

That evening, Yaman went home and told his parents everything. His mother narrowed her eyes.

"Show me her picture."

Yaman hesitated."Not now. Soon."

"No," his mom insisted. "Show me now."

He finally opened his phone and showed her a photo of Aiyla.

His mother stared at it for a few seconds…"I've seen this girl somewhere."

"Where?" Yaman frowned.

"Your father said the same thing. Her face… I recognize it. What's her full name?"

"Aiyla Koç."

Her mother's expression changed instantly."And her father?"

"Demir Koç."

That was enough.

"No," his mother snapped. "You will NOT marry her. Listen carefully, Yaman — we will only accept your engagement with CELINE. That's final."

Yaman's world froze."Mom! At least tell me why. You both agreed earlier, why suddenly no?"

His mom's tone grew cold."Enough. Your engagement will be with CELINE. End of discussion."

PARA:4

Yaman stood up, furious."I won't agree until I know the reason. And I won't leave Aiyla. She is my love — and I will never leave her."

He left the house angrily and went straight to Aiyla's home.

The guard informed her gently,"Ma'am, Yaman Bey is here."

"Let him in."

Yaman entered, eyes tired, face frustrated."You here… this late?" she asked softly.

"I had a fight with my mom. Left the house. I won't go back unless she listens."

Aiyla stepped closer, holding his cuff."Yaman… she's your mother. You can't leave home because of anger. Go back, please."

"Please don't take her side," he whispered."Or if you want me to leave even from here… just say it."

Aiyla cupped his cheeks."Okay, okay… I'm sorry. Did you eat anything?"

"No."

She smiled and brought Alfredo pasta. Sitting beside him, she fed him lovingly with her own hands. Afterwards, she gave him one of his comfortable T-shirts to sleep in and showed him a guest room.

But later that night, Yaman couldn't sleep.

He quietly walked into Aiyla's room.

She sat up."Mr. Yaman, where do you think you're going?"

He giggled."To you. I can't sleep. Maybe if I hug you… I will."

Aiyla's heart softened. He wrapped his arms around her, and they fell asleep together.

The next morning, they woke up tangled in each other's arms.Aiyla kissed his cheek, freshened up, prayed her morning prayer, and prepared to start her day.

Yaman entered the kitchen, smiling."You're awake?"

Aiyla turned and looked at him.

Their story had just begun…

PARA:5

Aiyla smiled softly."Breakfast is ready… and I've kept clothes for you. They're hanging in the washroom."

Yaman smiled back, changed quickly, and joined her for breakfast.

Just when they finished eating, his mother called.

Yaman picked up."Mom?"

"Where are you? Why didn't you come home?" her voice was sharp.

"Mom, please listen… I want to talk about something important."

"Fine," she said coldly. "Come home. Then we'll talk."

That night at 9 PM, Yaman reached home.

He stood in front of his mother."Now tell me. What's wrong? Why are you refusing?"

She took a deep breath."Sit. I'll tell you."

Yaman sat.

His mother finally spoke,"Aiyla… is the daughter of your father's old friend. And that girl… she hurt her own father. She hit him. That's her truth."

Yaman froze.

"What?"

"If you don't believe me," his mom added, "then go and ask her."

Rage burned in his chest.Without another word, he got up and stormed out of the house.

He reached Aiyla's place. She wasn't home, so he waited.

After a while, the door opened —Aiyla entered, saw him sitting there, and smiled.

"What happened? Your mom didn't agree?"

PARA:6

But the moment she saw his face, her smile faded. He was looking at her with pure anger.

Yaman's voice trembled,"So… your past. You kill your own father?"

Aiyla stared at him, shocked."Who told you that?"

"Just answer me. Yes or no."

A tear slipped from her eye."Yes… that's my past. But whatever they told you is not the truth."

She moved closer, holding his hand."Yaman, please listen to me once. I'll tell you everything."

But he yanked his hand away."Killer. I loved a killer for so many years?"

Aiyla flinched as if someone had slapped her."Yaman, no! I didn't kill my father!"

He walked out angrily.

She ran behind him."Please! Listen to me once — just once!"

Yaman sat in his car.She knocked on the window, crying desperately.

"Please, Yaman… just listen—"

PARA:7

But he started the car and drove away at full speed.

Aiyla ran after him until she fell at the doorstep of her house, crying uncontrollably.

Next morning, she went to the university —but Yaman didn't come.

Three days passed.

He still didn't show up.

On the fourth day, all their friends were gathered near the cafeteria:

Melis and her boyfriend Savash,Eylul — Aiyla's best friend,Nisa,Alara, and Murat — the boy who once had feelings for Aiyla.

Yaman arrived at the group."I want to tell you all something tonight. Meet me."

They all agreed.

Aiyla stood nearby and said softly,"Yaman… I need to talk to you."

He ignored her and started walking away.

Savash and Murat spoke up,"Yaman, Aiyla is talking to you."

He turned slightly."Hmm. Say it."

"Can we talk privately?" she asked.

"Fine."

They stepped aside."Yaman, will you come home today? I need to talk to you."

PARA:8

"No," he said coldly."I'm late for class."

He left.

That night, he invited all his friends —except Aiyla.

Next day, Aiyla didn't come to university. She had a fever and anxiety from crying entire nights.

A whole week passed.

Murat finally called her."Why aren't you coming? Are you okay?"

"Yes… just fever," she whispered.

Savash, sitting beside him, asked,"She's okay?"

"Yeah… just fever," Murat replied.

Everyone knew what Yaman needed to be told —but Aiyla didn't know yet.

After class, Savash and Yaman sat together.

Yaman sighed,"Aiyla hasn't come to the university. Did she leave for good?"

"No," Savash shrugged."She probably can't face you. She's ashamed. She said she has a fever and anxiety… you know how bad her anxiety gets. That's why she used to take sleeping pills — you're the one who made her stop."

Yaman looked down."Yeah… she has anxiety."

He left for home but suddenly reversed the car, bought a bouquet, and drove straight to Aiyla's house.

The door opened —Murat was standing there.

He had come to check on Aiyla and bring her medicine.

From inside, Aiyla called,"Murat? Who is it?"

She walked out and froze.....WHO is in the door?....

PARA:9

"Yaman…?"

Yaman turned around to leave.

She quickly slipped into her slippers and ran after him."Yaman, stop! Where are you going?"

He looked at Murat with anger and walked away.He threw the bouquet into the dustbin, sat in his car, and drove off.

Aiyla stood there helpless.

She went inside.Murat asked,"What happened to him?"

Aiyla forced a smile through watery eyes."Nothing… maybe he had something important."

Murat gave her medicine and took care of her.

Later, Eylul arrived. The moment she entered the room, Aiyla hugged her tightly and broke down in sobs.

"He came to see me… but when he saw Murat, he left."

Eylul stroked her hair."When he learns the truth, he'll come to you himself. Don't worry."

She held Aiyla until she cried herself to sleep.

Outside, Eylul told Murat,"Let's go. She cried herself to sleep. Thanks for being here."

Next morning…

Aiyla barely slept.Dark circles shadowed her eyes.

The doorbell rang.

Her hands trembled as she walked to open it.....

PARA:10

Melis, Eylul, Savash, Nisa, and Murat entered.

But Yaman wasn't there.

Aiyla paused… then forced a smile."hello HEY… you all came…"

Eylul immediately hugged her — she could feel Aiyla had cried all night.

Everyone sat in the lounge.

Melis spoke,"You weren't coming to university, so we came ourselves."

Aiyla smiled weakly."I had submitted an application… thank you all for coming."

Melis smirked,"We came to see you… but also to tell you something important. You're coming tomorrow, right?"

Aiyla frowned."Where?"

Melis raised an eyebrow."You seriously don't know? Your best friend didn't tell you?"

Aiyla's heartbeat sped up."Which best friend?"

is it yaman or someone else???

PARA:11

Melis folded her arms."You really don't know Yaman's engagement is tomorrow? We're all going. The theme is bloody red."

Aiyla went pale. But she forced a smile and said softly,

"Oh… really? I didn't know. I was really sick.Of course I'll go. Who else will congratulate my best friend?"

Melis laughed."Good. And by the way… your outfits are always the best. I want to wear your bloody red outfit — the one you perform in."

Aiyla smiled."Okay… but tell me one thing:Are you girls getting ready from here?"

"Should I call the make-up artist too?" Aiyla asked softly.

Melis nodded."YES And you come— show me your wardrobe. I want to choose something."

All the friends entered Aiyla's closet room.It was attached to her bedroom — a big, walk-in space.

Melis looked around in awe."You have so many bloody-red outfits… any special reason?"

Aiyla smiled faintly."I used to wear this color a lot… someone said it looked good on me. So I liked it."

Melis pointed at her prayer mat and coat in the corner."You keep these here too?"

Aiyla nodded proudly."I pray regularly. My dad always followed religion, so I do the same."

Melis selected an outfit and held it up for Savash."How does this look?"

Savash placed his car keys on the table and said,"Very good. But we're getting late."

They all started walking downstairs.

Eylul hugged Aiyla tightly, whispering,"Be brave… and don't cry....MY Little BABY..."

Aiyla forced a smile and nodded. After they left, she sat alone in her closet — and broke down. Her sobs echoed painfully through the whole room.

Savash came back in to pick up his car keys…but stopped when he saw her sitting on the floor, crying uncontrollably.and she saying something....

PARA:12

She kept repeating through her tears,"I didn't kill my dad… my mom did…"

Savash sat beside her gently."Aiyla… are you okay?"

She shook her head violently."No, I'm not okay… I lost my love, I lost my dad, I lost my uncle…All because of Yaman. His father wanted me to marry his son, Emre… and now I've lost everyone."

Savash held her hand."Don't cry… tell me the truth."

Aiyla wiped her tears and finally spoke,

"I didn't kill my father.I was five years old… Mom and Dad always fought. One day Dad found out Mom was ditching him for someone else. They had a huge fight.I was hiding beside the couch… terrified.

My mom… she picked up a gun.And she shot my dad in front of me.I went into trauma. Then she put the gun in my hand and blamed me.Everyone believed her.

Four years later, my uncle came from America. He learned the truth… proved my innocence…and took me with him.He became my guardian.

When I grew up, became a singer, became strong… I took over my father's business.I even have the footage — all the proof. My mother is in jail now."

Savash sighed deeply."Don't worry. When Yaman learns the truth, he'll come to you.Trust me."

He stood up."I should go. They're waiting for me downstairs. I only came to take my keys."

Next day arrived —the day neither Yaman nor Aiyla was happy.

PARA:13

Aiyla woke up early. She opened the dress Yaman had bought with her the day they went shopping together.

A burgundy satin prom dress. He had said,"When I get engaged, meet me the next day wearing this."

She stared at the dress… then placed it back inside the same black round gift box he gave her.

Her friends had arrived. The maid informed her,"Ma'am, your friends are here."

"Okay," she said quietly.

The make-up artist had already been booked by the girls.Everyone got their make-up done.

Aiyla wore her long velvet red prom dress —the color that once belonged to her love.

When her friends reached the venue, they waited inside Yaman's house.Yaman had arranged the engagement setup in the garden.

Aiyla entered the house quietly.Yaman was upstairs in his room talking to Savash.

"I'm just listening to my mom," he said."I'm not doing anything wrong, right? She can't be innocent."

Savash stared at him."She IS innocent. And you can still stop this, Yaman. She still belongs to you.Are you really going to lose your love because of your mother's lies?"

Yaman's heartbeat grew heavier.

Meanwhile, inside the house, Celine — the bride — stood with her cousin Leyla.

Aiyla approached them politely."Umm HEY… which one is Yaman's room?"

Leyla pointed upstairs."The second room."

Aiyla walked up the stairs.

The door was partly open.

Yaman was standing inside, still talking to Savash...

PARA:14

Aiyla stepped inside quietly and said,

"Congratulations, Yaman Karadeniz Koç…A big, big congratulations."

Savash immediately understood and whispered,"I'm leaving."

Aiyla looked at Yaman again."You look… very good. And I had something to return… I forgot last time."

She removed the necklace from her neck —the same one Yaman gave her when he fell in love with her.

She placed it in his hand.

"If our love didn't survive… then what do I do with this?Take it."

Yaman stared at her coldly."Why are you here?"

"You didn't invite me," she whispered."So I thought… I should come myself.To see how you look…"

Tears filled her eyes."And why did you do this, Yaman? For you… I even left my uncle…"

She lowered her face, tears falling.

"Why?"

"Please go, Aiyla," Yaman said flatly.

She stepped closer and held his face with trembling hands.

"I will die, Yaman…I will die without you. Please… you can still stop this…I'm innocent.Let me tell you the truth—"

Yaman pushed her away harshly.

"Enough, Aiyla!Leave my life."

Aiyla broke down crying."Yaman… I'll die without you."

"Then die," he said coldly —and walked away.

She choked in sobs.

She hid in the washroom and cried silently…then came out and stood with the friends.

PARA:15

Celine and Yaman made their grand entry.Aiyla clapped with the others —her eyes dead, her heart bleeding.

Yaman's friend Doruk noticed her.His school friends whispered,"Who is she?she is singer but what's her name..... The girl in the red dress… the one standing next to Murat… what was her name..?"

"Aiyla," someone said.

Yaman turned sharply toward them.

"Stop looking at her.Look anywhere else.NOT at her.Understood?"

His friends raised their hands."Okay, okay…"

Yaman went to the stage.

Eylul went up to give her gift —and Aiyla went with her.

Aiyla handed the black round box to Celine.

"This is for you.If tomorrow you come to meet Yaman, wear this.He bought it for his future wife."

Celine smiled innocently."Oh thank you… but who are you?"

Aiyla looked straight into her eyes.

PARA:16

"Didn't Yaman's mother tell you?I'm his best friend."

Celine laughed softly."Oh… nice to meet you."

Yaman immediately left the stage."I'm taking a call," he said, walking out.

He stood in the parking area.

Aiyla followed him…and said quietly,

"This is for you."

She placed something in his hand.

She went to him and handed him a small black gift box. He took it, slipped it into his pocket, and said, "Thank you."Then Aiyla walked away.

A little later, she was sitting with her friends."Guys, I'm going home now since most guests have already left," she said.

Melis grabbed her hand immediately."No. You're not going anywhere. Sit right here. We're all going upstairs — you too. Every time you disappear, but not today."

Aiyla sighed."Okay, okay… I'm not going."

Soon, Yaman arrived."Come on, guys," he said, and everyone — Yaman's friends and Aiyla — moved to the top floor and sat together to play Truth or Dare.

The game started. The first dare landed on Yaman. The first truth landed on Melis.

Yaman smirked at her."Tell us… do you love Savash? Or is he just time pass?"

Melis suddenly shouted,"Savash, I love you so much! Only him — no one else."

Everyone laughed and teased her.

Then Melis gave Yaman his dare:

PARA:17

"Your turn now… kiss Celine in front of everyone."

Yaman leaned forward and kissed Celine on the cheek.

"No," she corrected loudly, "on the lips."

And in front of everyone… he did.

Aiyla froze.Her heart dropped.

She quietly stood up and walked downstairs, leaving without anyone noticing. She reached the parking area, went to her car, and sat beside it, tears pouring down her face. After a minute, she opened her bag to take out her car keys, but her hands were shaking so badly that the keys fell. She picked them up and sat inside her car, still crying.

Her chest tightened. Her breathing became heavy. She opened her dashboard and took an anxiety tablet —

the ones meant to be taken before sleeping. The medicine made her dizzy.

Still crying, she reversed her car — at the same moment, one of Yaman's friends was driving out. She couldn't control the car, and it hit theirs. Her forehead and eyebrow struck the steering wheel, and she started bleeding before she fainted.

Yaman's friends panicked. They rushed to her car, knocking on the window repeatedly. She didn't move....They immediately called Yaman.

"One of your friends… her car hit ours. She's unconscious in the car," they said.....

PARA:18

Twenty minutes passed before she opened her eyes again. His friends called again:

"Yaman, come downstairs. Your friend — what's her name… yes, Aiyla — she fainted. Come quickly!"

Murat, who had been smoking, heard her name and ran. Savash and Yaman rushed with him.

By the time they reached, Aiyla had stepped out of her car."I'm so sorry," she said weakly. "I'll pay for all the damage. I'll transfer whatever amount is needed…"

They shook their heads."No, please. There's no need. Are you okay? That's all that matters."

Yaman ran to her.He touched her shoulders, moved the hair from her face, checking for more injuries."Are you okay? Look at me," he said softly.

Aiyla stepped back immediately."Stay away, Yaman. I'm fine."

She turned to his friends."Please just give me your account number. I'll pay for everything."

They kept refusing kindly."No need. Please don't worry."

Yaman opened her car door."Sit inside. I'll drop you home."

She shut the door quickly."No. Thank you. I can go."

She turned away, dizzy again, almost losing her balance. Murat quickly stepped forward.

"I'll drop you. Please sit."

He gently guided her into his car.Yaman could only stand and watch, tears forming in his eyes as Murat drove away.

At the hospital, Murat said, "Aiyla, come on… let's get your first-aid done."

She nodded silently.

After the doctor cleaned and dressed her wound, they left. Murat took her home and helped her into her room. He removed her heels, set them aside, and made her lie down comfortably.

Aiyla curled up on the bed, crying silently.Only one sentence left her trembling lips:

"I miss you, Dad… nobody loves me, Dad… I miss you so much…"

She cried herself to sleep.

Morning came.....

PARA:19

She had university. She woke up, got ready, and went — even though Yaman thought she wouldn't come.

She didn't look at him even once.

Exams had started.

She came every day, talked to no one, and left the moment her papers were over. But Yaman kept noticing one thing…

Aiyla's hands never stopped shaking.

Then came the last exam.

After that day, they never met again.

A month passed. Aiyla walked out of her classroom, heading home. Yaman told his friends to wait and began following her. He had already realized that Aiyla had started taking the sleeping pills again—the same ones she had once stolen and then stopped using.

"Aiyla, I need to talk to you," he said.

She turned around. "Hmm?"

Yaman held her hand. She immediately pulled it away.

"What happened, Yaman?"

"You've started taking the pills again," he said quietly.

Aiyla looked at him for a moment, then said, "It's nothing. I'm going home," and walked away.

She sat inside her car, but before she could close the door, Yaman held it.

"I need an answer, Aiyla."

She looked straight at him. Tears were shining in her eyes.

"Yaman… there is nothing between us anymore. That's why I don't owe you any answers," she whispered, and shut the door.

PARA:20

She started driving, tears blurring her vision the entire way.

Meanwhile, Yaman returned home. He locked himself in his room, sank onto the sofa, and broke down. His hands trembled as he stared at her pictures on his phone.

"I tried so hard to forget you," he whispered. "But I can't. I'm losing my mind, Aiyla. Why won't you tell me the truth?"

Aiyla reached home and walked straight to her room. She opened her drawer, took out the pills, swallowed them, and lay down on her bed. Silent tears slid down her cheeks.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

She ignored it.

Moments later, the door opened. Yaman had already instructed the staff not to interfere—he would handle this himself. He walked toward her room and knocked.

"Aiyla, it's open. Come in, Sila," she said weakly, assuming it was the maid.

There was another knock.

She stood up, opened the door—and froze.

Yaman stood there.

"Aiyla… please," he said softly. "Tell me the truth. I need to know."

She stared at him for a long moment before replying in a calm, broken voice,"There's nothing to tell, Yaman. Whatever your mother said… accept it. That is the truth for you."

She shut the door in his face.

Leaning her forehead against it, Aiyla began to cry.Outside, Yaman whispered desperately, "Aiyla… please open the door. I just want the truth."

"Go away!" she screamed. "I have nothing to say!"

Later that night, she spread her prayer mat and fell to her knees.

"Allah…" she whispered through tears. "What should I do? I can't find peace. Please… give me peace."

Exhaustion overtook her, and she fell asleep right there.

The Next Morning

She woke up and checked her phone. A message popped up about a concert scheduled in Istanbul.

She replied simply:Okay, I'll come.

At the venue, her assistant reminded her quietly,"You're performing with Yaman today. This was scheduled three months ago."

Her breath caught—but she nodded and continued getting ready.

During her performance, Yaman stood in the front row, his eyes never leaving her. When she finished, he raised his hand.

"Can I come on stage?" he asked.

Aiyla loved her fans and often invited them up. She nodded.

Yaman took the microphone.

"I want to ask something," he said loudly. "In front of everyone."

"Yaman… what are you doing?" she whispered urgently. "Talk to me privately."

"Why are you scared?" he asked calmly.

Then, his voice cut through the crowd.

"Tell me… did you kill your father?"

PARA:21

Aiyla's eyes widened."No… no, I didn't—"

"Then answer clearly," he demanded."Did you kill your father? Yes or no?"

He asked the question again. And again.

Aiyla broke down. She ran off the stage, sobbing, and collapsed among her fans, crying uncontrollably.

"I didn't kill him… how could I?" she cried."I'm not a killer. My mother did it—not me. How can a five-year-old child kill her own father?"Her voice shook. "I have proof… I'm innocent…"

Her fans surrounded her, trying to calm her, shielding her from the chaos.

Eylul rushed in with the guards. She hugged Aiyla tightly and took her home.

That night, Aiyla cried endlessly.

"I didn't kill him… Eylul, please tell everyone… please…"

"Don't cry," Eylul whispered, holding her close."I've already posted all the proof on social media. Everyone knows the truth now."

She stayed with Aiyla the entire night—like a mother protecting a frightened child—until Aiyla finally fell asleep in her arms.

When Eylul stepped out of the room, Murat was standing there. She hugged him immediately and broke down.

"She's in so much pain, Murat. I want to help her, but I feel helpless. She's breaking…"

Murat held her shoulders gently."Just don't leave her alone. Right now, she only needs you."

Early the next morning, Aiyla felt a little better.

As for Yaman—after hearing the truth from Savash the night before—he had spent the entire night sitting alone on the beach, crying. He never went home. By sunrise, he had fallen asleep in his car.

Later that day, Aiyla hugged Eylul and said softly,"I'm fine now. Go home. Your parents must be worried. Just… don't leave me again. Please."

She went to her room to pray.

The doorbell rang....

She called for her maid—but there was no answer. The maid had gone out to buy groceries.

Aiyla slowly walked toward the door…...

PARA:22

When Aiyla opened the door, Yaman was standing outside.

She immediately tried to shut it, but he stopped the door with his hand and forced his way inside. Aiyla ran toward her room, but he followed. She pushed him hard.

"Go away! Leave! Get out of my life for God's sake!"

Aiyla fell to the floor and began crying uncontrollably. Yaman sat down in front of her.

"I'm sorry… please forgive me."

She pushed him again, still crying, her hands trembling. Yaman looked at her carefully.

"You're still taking the pills, aren't you?"

She looked away."No… just go."

Yaman got up and opened a drawer. Her pill bottle was inside. He turned to her.

"Why are you taking them?"Aiyla rushed forward to snatch the bottle. He searched every corner, found the rest, and slipped them into his pocket.

Aiyla broke down."Please give them back… I can't sleep without them… please…"

Yaman held her face gently."I'm not putting you in pain. These can take your life."

She pushed him away again."Go! You only hurt me! I hate you! Leave my life! The Aiyla you loved is dead… go!"

Yaman finally left. Outside, he told Savash,"Follow her. Don't let her buy pills again."

The next day, Aiyla lay on her bed the whole time.

She hadn't slept at all — only cried, remembering how her mother killed her father.

She finally stood up and went out for a walk. She stopped at a pharmacy, bought more pills, and returned home.

She ordered her security guards,"If Yaman Bey comes, don't let him in."

Meanwhile, Yaman was replaying everything the doctor had told him. Celine's parents had asked him to spend a full day with them, so he sat with them physically — but mentally, he was somewhere else.

She had been taking pills since she was fifteen. The doctor had warned that if she kept taking them, they would damage her heart, starve her organs of oxygen, and she might spend her whole life with an oxygen pipe under her nose.

Aiyla reached home.

She changed into Yaman's shirt — the one she wore when they used to spend time together, cooking and laughing, giving him soft kisses on the cheek.

She took out her father's picture, sat on the sofa, and swallowed five pills. The bottle had fifty pills total — she kept taking more until she had taken all of them. Then she lay down with her father's picture against her chest.

"Dad… I'm coming to you," she whispered, tears slipping from her closed eyes...

At that exact moment, Savash called Yaman.

"I saw her at the pharmacy."

Yaman didn't wait another second. He rushed out of the house, his heart pounding violently in his chest. It took him nearly twenty minutes to reach Aiyla's place. The guards tried to stop him, but he pushed past them and ran upstairs.

The door to her room was locked.

For a second, panic froze him—then he remembered.Aiyla always hid her spare keys under the flower pots.

His hands trembled as he found them, unlocked the door, and stepped inside.

Aiyla was lying motionless on the sofa, her face pale, her lips colorless. In her hand, she was holding her father's photograph.

"Aiyla…" his voice broke."I'm here. Look at me… please wake up."

He shook her gently.

The photo frame slipped from her fingers and shattered on the floor.

Yaman's eyes fell on the pill bottle nearby. He picked it up—and his breath caught. Only a few pills were left.

"No… no, no…" he whispered, panic flooding him.

He lifted her into his arms and rushed her out. Every second felt like a lifetime.

He sat on the bathroom floor with her in his lap, the shower water running over them.

"Please open your eyes… I can't live without you," he cried."Open your eyes. I promise I'll never leave again… please, Aiyla…"

Slowly, Aiyla opened her eyes and smiled weakly.

"Yaman…" she whispered."Dad is here too. You both left me before… but now you're both with me. Don't take me away… let me stay here."

Her eyes closed again.

Yaman hugged her tightly, his tears falling onto her face. Without wasting a second, he rushed her to the hospital.

The doctors washed her stomach and later assured him that she would be fine by night—the pills had been removed in time.

Yaman collapsed onto the chair outside, burying his face in his hands. Tears streamed down silently.

Later that night, he brought her home.

Aiyla was asleep, her face still weak but peaceful. Yaman sat beside her, gently stroking her hair, afraid she might disappear if he stopped touching her.

"I love you," he whispered brokenly."I'm not leaving this time… I promise."

THE NEXT MORNING

Sunlight filtered into the room.

They woke up wrapped in each other's arms.

Yaman quietly got up and went to make breakfast. When he returned with the tray, Aiyla was awake, standing beside the bed.

He placed the tray down and cupped her face gently.

"Are you okay?" he asked softly.

Suddenly, Aiyla pushed him away.

"What are you doing here?" she snapped. "Stay away from me. I told you!"

"I'm sorry…" Yaman said quietly.

"What are you doing in my room, Yaman?" she repeated, her voice trembling.

"I came for you. If I hadn't—"

She shoved him again.

"Get out! Leave!"

He stepped closer, trying to hold her hand, but she slapped him across the face.

"There is nothing left between us!" she cried."Whatever we had is over. Don't care for me. I can take care of myself."

"I know the truth now," Yaman whispered, his eyes filling with tears."I know I didn't trust you… but I'm here now. I can't live without you. Please… just give me one chance. I won't leave again."

Aiyla stared at him, her eyes burning.

"Go," she said coldly. "Just go. You left me once. Go back to her."

She collapsed onto the sofa, crying uncontrollably.

At that moment, the doorbell rang.

A maid opened the door.

A woman stepped inside.....

PARA:24

"Who are you?" the woman asked the maid."I came to see Aiyla. Who is screaming?"

The maid guided her upstairs.

Celine rushed into the room. Yaman was standing there, pleading desperately.

"Just one chance… please…"

Aiyla screamed,"Go! Leave me alone!"

Celine hurried toward her."Aiyla… are you okay?"

"Don't come near me!" Aiyla sobbed. "Go away! And take him with you!"

"Calm down… tell me what happened," Celine said softly.

Aiyla shouted again, her voice breaking,"Go! Why don't you understand? Yaman hurt me — now he will suffer all his life! You chose him, didn't you? Then neither of you will ever be happy!"

She looked at Celine with tear-filled eyes."Don't cry. I can never accept someone who already loves someone else."

Yaman stared at her in silence, shattered.

Celine turned to him and said firmly,"Yaman, don't look at her like that. I asked Savash — he told me everything."

Aiyla turned to walk away, but suddenly her body gave up. She collapsed to the floor. Blood began to drip from her nose.

Yaman caught her just in time, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"Aiyla! Are you okay?" he cried."Please open your eyes… I can't live without you!"

Tears streamed down his face.

Celine panicked."Call the doctor! Hurry — bring her quickly!"

PARA:25

Celine watched everything unfold, panic flashing in her eyes."Hurry! Bring her—let's take Aiyla to the hospital, now!"

They rushed her to the hospital. Treatment began immediately, but her brain was not receiving enough oxygen. To stabilize her condition, the doctors placed a nasal cannula to support her breathing.

The doctor explained calmly,

"Sleeping pills can sometimes cause respiratory depression — a serious condition where breathing slows down or, in extreme cases, stops. In such emergencies, we provide oxygen through a nasal cannula or other respiratory support. This is not a normal effect of prescribed medication, but when oxygen levels fall dangerously low, support becomes necessary."

Yaman stepped out of the emergency room, his legs trembling. He stood outside helplessly, staring at Aiyla through the glass, fear written all over his face.

The next day, they were finally allowed to see her.

Celine was with him.

Yaman gently placed flowers beside Aiyla's bed."Get well soon," he whispered.

Aiyla looked at Celine and offered a faint smile.

"I'm sorry… you're such a good person. I was so rude to you, yet you still came to see me."

Celine laughed softly."It's okay. If I were in your place, I would have reacted even worse."

Then she paused, her expression turning serious."And… I brought good news."

She walked toward Yaman, slowly removed the ring he had given her, and held it out to him....

PARA:26

"Everything is over now," Celine said calmly. "Put this ring on Aiyla."

Yaman stared at her in shock."What… what are you saying?"

She smiled gently, without bitterness."I spoke to my parents. Our relationship is over, Yaman."

Tears filled Aiyla's eyes, and she began to cry silently.

Celine wrapped her in a warm hug.

"Yaman," she said softly, "come here. Put the ring on her."

With trembling hands, Yaman stepped forward and slid the ring onto Aiyla's finger.

Celine smiled from the heart."May you both always stay happy. And don't worry — I'll arrange your wedding myself. As soon as she's discharged, everything will be ready."

A few days later,

Aiyla was discharged from the hospital.Yaman's family came to welcome her. Aiyla had no family of her own there — but her friends had become her family. Together, they welcomed Yaman's family with open hearts. Soon, a wedding date was fixed.

And finally… the wedding day arrived.

Aiyla walked beside Yaman, looking breathtakingly beautiful in her white dress. A thin oxygen tube still rested beneath her nose, yet she looked angelic. Yaman couldn't take his eyes off her — she was his miracle.

After the wedding, Yaman took her to America for complete treatment. Slowly but surely, her health improved, until she fully recovered.

Three years later, they returned to Istanbul — healed, healthy, and happy.

One quiet evening, they lay together. Aiyla rested her head on Yaman's chest while his hand gently covered her stomach.

She smiled softly and whispered,"What should we name our baby? Our daughter… she'll be so beautiful. I want to name her Ecem. She'll be as beautiful as you."

Months later, their baby girl was born.

Their family was finally complete.A warm home.A peaceful life. And a happiness they once believed they would never find.....
