Renault pressed his palm down. Silver lightning bolts as thick as pillars rained down. While individually less powerful than his previous move, they were instantaneous and numerous. With his current Observation Haki, Renault could cover the entire island. Everywhere his mind touched, lightning followed.

The ground was pulverized like tofu. Ancient trees were snapped in half, and birds trying to escape were charred instantly. The island became a domain of thunder, sealing off all of Rocks' escape routes.
"Hahahaha! Renault, I truly didn't misjudge you!!" Rocks laughed maniacally, ignoring the lightning strikes hitting his body. He stared at Renault with an expression so wide it nearly reached his ears. "You satisfy me completely! Even without your crew, with you by my side, I can become the Master of the World!! On that day, you shall be above all but me!!!"
"Now, witness the true horror of the Dark-Dark Fruit!!!"
A massive dark vortex appeared before Rocks. The gravity tore at the air, and even the lightning striking the ground was sucked into the void.
"You only know that the fruit absorbs damage at the cost of double pain. But I am ROCKS!!! My development of this fruit is beyond the comprehension of brats like you!!"
"Release!!" Rocks roared, swinging his palms.
The silver lightning that had been swallowed by the vortex surged back out, now coated in a sinister dark aura, hurtling toward Renault.
"What?!" Renault frowned as he neutralized the counterattack. "He can redirect absorbed attacks? As expected of Rocks. He's much more dangerous than that toothless guy from the future."
Renault now had a clear estimate of Rocks' power: a fruit that countered others, top-tier physical arts, and Haki that rivaled his own. The only unknown was whether Rocks possessed a second fruit.
