"Switched to a new Deck?"
The corners of Yusaku's mouth curled in a faint smile. "Then do you want to win your 'Blackwing Deck' back?"
Fujiwara's eyes flickered, but in the end he just gritted his teeth and snorted coldly. "Cut the crap. Let's duel!"
Yusaku smiled lightly and slid his "397" Deck slowly into his Duel Disk. "Looks like I really did scare you. Fine, I'll play along."
"Duel!" "Duel!"
The two voices rang out at the same time. Their Duel Disks hummed as pale-blue screens unfolded, streams of data racing across the surface as both players' starting Life Points appeared clearly.

Fujiwara's fingertip slid across the Duel Disk as he drew his starting hand.
His gaze swept across his cards. After a brief moment of thought, the corner of his lips hooked up in a barely noticeable smirk.
"Yusaku, this duel will make you regret ever looking down on me."
Yusaku raised an eyebrow.
"Looks like your opening hand's not bad, if you can say that with such confidence."
"You'll find out soon enough!" Fujiwara snorted, then suddenly whipped one card out of his hand.
Before his words had even fallen, he'd already slapped the card hard onto his Duel Disk.
"Come out, tactical sage of the Six Samurai!"
The instant his shout fell, an old figure manifested: a white-haired elder, leaning on a staff, took his place on the field, a calm aura radiating off him.

Yusaku raised an eyebrow slightly.
He remembered that with "Gateway of the Six" at three, this Deck was still very powerful. Maybe not quite Tier 1, but easily one of the strongest in Tier 2.
He just didn't know how much of that power it could show in the opponent's hands.
The moment Tactical Trainer stood firm on the field, Fujiwara immediately revealed a second card from his hand, his voice suddenly rising.
"I activate the effect of the card in my hand, [Anarchist Monk of the Six Samurai]!"
"If I control a 'Six Samurai' monster other than this card, I can Special Summon it from my hand. My field satisfies that condition, so I can Special Summon him!"
"Come out, Anarchist Monk of the Six Samurai!"
Brilliant golden Buddha-light exploded out, dazzling to the point of pain. A monk wrapped in robes, wielding a khakkhara staff, stepped out of the radiance onto the field.

Before his words had even finished, he suddenly swung his arm down and shouted sharply, "I use both monsters I just summoned as Link Material!"
"Link Summon! Link-2, Battle Shogun of the Six Samurai!!"
As his shout fell, the two monsters turned into twin streams of golden light and shot into the Link Circuit that unfolded in the air.
Two Link Arrows lit up one after another in a brilliant red glow. In the next second, a warrior clad in heavy black armor and brandishing a gilded longsword slowly descended from the circuit, his armor clanking with a heavy metallic rumble.

Seeing the monster on the field, the Flame Wolf Dojo students all froze.
When Fujiwara had dueled them earlier, he had never once used this kind of Summon.
Now he was bringing out a Link Summon against Yusaku. That could only mean he was going all out.
It really did seem like they'd said: Fujiwara must have lost miserably last time, or he wouldn't be showing his full power right from the start.
Staring at the monster that had appeared, Yusaku raised an eyebrow. "So this is the result of your effort? Learning how to Link Summon?"

After adding the searched card, he continued.
"Next is the effect of [Anarchist Monk of the Six Samurai]. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, I can activate it to add 1 'Six Samurai' Quick-Play Spell from my Deck to my hand. I add the Quick-Play Spell [Asceticism of the Six Samurai] from my Deck to my hand."
"Last is the effect of [Battle Shogun of the Six Samurai]. When this card is Link Summoned, I can discard 1 card to add from my Deck to my hand 1 card that has an effect that places Bushido Counters."
Fujiwara flipped up yet another card in his hand.
"I discard [Great Shogun Shien] from my hand to the Graveyard and add the Continuous Spell [Gateway of the Six] from my Deck to my hand!"
After adding that card, he didn't pause for even a moment and slapped it directly onto his Duel Disk. "I activate the Continuous Spell, [Gateway of the Six]!"
As the card slammed down, a massive stone gate etched with dense Six Samurai runes rose up behind Fujiwara. Bronze chains around the gateframe clanked heavily as the gate slowly opened, and a worn ancient suit of armor stepped forth.
"Next I activate the Quick-Play Spell [Six Strike – Dual Wield]. This card's effect lets me Special Summon 1 'Six Samurai' monster with 2000 or less ATK from my hand or Graveyard."
"I choose to Special Summon [Tactical Trainer of the Six Samurai] with 200 ATK from my Graveyard to the zone pointed to by [Battle Shogun of the Six Samurai]'s Link Arrow!"

He raised his hand and jabbed toward Yusaku.
"I target the [Tactical Trainer of the Six Samurai] on my field with 200 ATK and Special Summon from my Deck the monster with a different name but the same ATK, [Secret Six Samurai – Fuma], to the zone pointed to by [Battle Shogun of the Six Samurai]'s Link Arrow."
An intense flash of light flared, and an armored ninja clutching throwing blades appeared silently on the field, a razor-sharp killing intent rolling off him.

Fujiwara raised his hand high and shouted.
"Show yourself, the ace monster that dwells in my Deck!"
As he spoke, Secret Six Samurai – Fuma's body gradually turned transparent, finally condensing into a white orb of light that firmly enveloped Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan. In the next instant, the two monsters fused into one dazzling white beam that slammed heavily to the ground.
