Nezu was excited, the HPSC finally gave him permission to start his new project. The new Heros vs Villians game should be a great addition to the curriculum. A hero leader would be selected from the hero students and a villain leader. Then the rest of the hero course will decide whether to join the heroes or the villains side. He had hoped especially for this year. He had such interesting students in the first year and he knew the perfect people to fight against. He knew of course that the teams would end up even despite the view point of the villains being in the wrong.
He wasn't even mad that he was on the villain team, he was trembling in not fear or even nervousness. Izuku Midoriya was enraged that every single hero course gave no thought that everyone else might also be joining the hero side. Leaving Izuku alone. Again, it seemed that life really hated him. But he felt the eyes of everybody on him and he clenched his fists tightly forcing himself to not stalk over to the Prinicple who was frowning at the rest of the hero course.
Seeming to glide over to Nezu who was standing on a podium with a piece of black paper rolled up in his hands. Izuku grasped the paper firmly and looked into the eyes of the principle.
"I apologize Mr Midoriya it seems I made a miscalculation in my assessment of your classmates. If you would like I am sure we could split-"
Izuku cut him off
"No."
A gasp came from the side as Mrs midnight had a hand to her mouth a look of shock on her face.
"I have only one question,"
Izuku leaned in after speaking right up the principal's ear.
"Am I limited to the hero course?"
he asked and a manic grin appeared on the face of the principle. With a shake of Nezu's head Izuku stood and started over the people watching him. Bakugo the hero team leader was only glaring at him, the rest of his class looked sheepish. The one that hurt the most was Ochacko, she wouldn't meet his eyes only keeping them down. They were like siblings or so he thought, they new they couldn't be lovers. There relationship was ent like that, but he thought that she would at least be on his side. Walking out the auditorium he stopped at the doors. The meek boy was gone and in its place was an angry and betrayed man. Turning his head he raised his voice.
"Good luck heroes, cause in two weeks you'll need it."
he said simply and waited for the reaction he knew he would get.
"Hah! As if deku! You shitty nerd! We won't need anything, I'll squash you myself!" Bakugo screamed Izuku only nodded and walked out the doors.
