Elian didn't just hear the voice—he felt it.
That authoritative sound slid through him, settling deep in his chest, making every muscle tremble in quiet submission. His omega instincts stirred immediately, aching to cry out at the voice of an Alpha alone.
It hadn't been long since his last heat, yet this one was different—so intense that even thinking felt distant, fogged, as though his mind were sinking beneath the weight of it.
Elian barely noticed when the bed dipped beneath him. The pounding in his head drowned everything out, heat turning every inch of his body sore and aching. It was only when warm, heavy breaths brushed the sensitive skin of his neck that awareness snapped back into place.
