Chapter 7 - this is not a chapter but a poem telling my heart

Lonely, lonely—truly lonely,

To walk the path of oneself.

Such a lonely path,

To gain one's own understanding

Of the heart, walking under the eyes of the heavens,

Journeying beneath the gaze of stars,

Diving the seas, climbing the mountains—

Lonely indeed, and beyond.

Since birth till death,

Oh, only the heavens remember the lonely man

Walking his life as he pleased,

Both with regret and the whims of the heart.

Alas.

Yet even in loneliness, he continues.

Oh, for the man who seeks the heart is foolish,

And wise—for he is true to his nature,

As he wishes to move onward and forward,

Rising like a moth,

Only to fall, simply gazing at the flames,

Gazing at the stars he wishes to hold,

As they hold him in his madness.
