I looked away first, I wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because the boy by the window had a way of looking at people that made it seem as if he could see through them.
I turned towards Elias. Who is he? Elias followed my gaze and his expression changed only for a second.

Just Adrian? Elias nodded,I waited for more.

I sighed.
You're not very helpful. He gave me a small shrug, before I could ask anything else the school bells rang. Students began moving to their classroom, Elias looked at the schedule in my hand.

I looked down, He was right. How did you know? He pointed at the paper, I looked at it again, right there at the top. I felt slightly embarrassed, Elias smiled.

He started walking, I followed swiftly he didn't talk much, but somehow he didn't make the silence awkward either. When we reached the classroom, he stopped,This is mine too.

He nodded toward the seats. You can sit there, he pointed to an empty seat near the middle. I smiled, and muttered thanks, he simply nodded at took the seat beside mine, I stared at him.
You're sitting here? He looked at me.

I looked at the completely empty row behind us

He smiled quietly. The teacher arrived a few minutes later, class started and I tried to concentrate, but I kept getting distracted not by the lesson. By the feeling that somwas watching me, I slowly turned my head. Adrian was sitting two rows behind us, his eyes were on me. The moment we locked eyes, he looked away I frowned.
What is his problem? I turned back towars the board. A few seconds later something landed on my desk, a folded piece of paper. I looked around, Elias was still facing the teacher, I opened it.

That was it, just one word I turned around. Adrian was leaning back in his chair, looking totally uninterested.

He pointed at the paper lazily, his fingers were long and he looked effortlessly handsome and his white hair stood out. Then he smirked, I rolled my eyes and wrote underneath it, my name is Ellie, I folded it and tossed it back. A moment later, it returned I opened it . " I know." I stared at the words.

I turned around fully. Are you always this annoying? The teacher stopped speaking, the entire class was quiet, I froze
Adrian looked amused, oh no let it not be what am thinking I muttered as I turned around. The teacher was staring at me, is there something you'd like to share, Miss Marlowe? No ma'am.

I said these while trying not to smile. Elias glanced at me completely unaware of what just transpired.
What? I whispered, he shook his head nothing. But there was a tiny smile on his face, for some reason it made me smile too. Unbeknownst to me Adrian was watching our little interaction and I didn't notice the scowl on his face. The bell rang, everyone stood and were leaving I packed my things into my bag quickly, when I reached the door, someone stepped into my path with broad shoulders that I couldn't see behind him.
Adrian. What a pain I muttered.
I looked up at him

He titled his head "Nothing."
Then move, he didn't, I crossed my arms, you're blocking the door

Uhhhh I stared at him in annoyance and pure irritation I couldn't stand this guy, then he finally stepped aside, as I walked past him, his voice followed me .

His lips curved into a faint smile.from where I stood I could see his eyes, there were beautiful yet cold they looked like the ocean blue yet green some times, I thought to myself,are you done ogling Marlowe. I was taken aback I glared at him, he looked away I couldn't decide whether I wanted to be annoyed or figure out why he was so strange. Then someone called me I turned behind me Elias stood and when I turned Adrian wasn't there anymore he asked what happened I replied almost quickly nothing,we started talking as we were going.
