Chapter 66 - The Fear of Kizaru and the Wind Calamity Queen!

Wind Calamity Queen's eyes were now ice-cold, her killing intent more terrifying than everything she'd shown so far combined. Bloodlust and brutality twisted her gaze, her face contorting into something monstrous. In this moment, she had completely become the "Calamity of Wind" from countless rumors—here to take Whiteflame's life!

"You really think you're something, don't you."

Facing the Wind Calamity Queen's ferocious assault, Whiteflame spoke coldly.

He had very little patience for women to begin with—especially the unpredictable, explosively temperamental kind who never stopped once they started raging.

"Do it."

With that single command, twenty-three IBMs lunged forward at once, their long, razor claws spread wide. Carrying overwhelming momentum, they slammed into the Wind Calamity Queen head-on!

Boom!

A violent shockwave burst out.

The Wind Calamity Queen suddenly realized: her attack… had actually been stopped in place by one of those humanoid bandage monsters, unable to advance even a millimeter further!

"Incredible… they actually stopped her strike?"

Seeing this, Kizaru finally realized just how strong those humanoid bandage monsters that had attacked him earlier really were.

If these things could use Armament Haki, then just those twenty-three IBMs alone would be comparable to an army of a hundred thousand men!

"What are these monsters?!"

Even the Wind Calamity Queen's bloodthirsty eyes rippled with shock.

From the moment she set sail, she'd been called the "Rampaging Tiger." When it came to raw power, she enjoyed an absolute advantage.

Even Jack the Drought, famous for his destructive power, had to tuck his tail between his legs in front of her.

This might've been a casual blow for her—she hadn't used her full strength—but it was still not something most people could block… and yet now she was deadlocked with one humanoid bandage monster. Even she had to admit she was surprised.

"So what if you blocked it?"

"Anyone who gets in this Queen's way—monster, ghost, or whatever the hell you are—can go to hell!"

When the Wind Calamity Queen lost her temper, it wasn't something you could describe as "bad." It was catastrophic.

Her arms suddenly bulged, her fingers turning into wicked claws. Muscles swelled, veins popped, and coarse brown-yellow fur sprouted along her skin… This was no longer a human arm—this was the limb of a beast.

This was the Wind Calamity Queen's power—

a Zoan-type, Ancient Model: Saber-Toothed Tiger!

While a saber-toothed tiger couldn't compare to a mammoth in sheer power, as the saying went:

"There is no strongest Devil Fruit, only the strongest ability user."

And in that regard, the Wind Calamity Queen's mastery clearly far outstripped Jack the Drought's.

She reached out, grabbed an IBM by the head, and smashed it toward the ground!

Boom!

With a deafening crash, the impact blasted open a massive crater, causing the floating island to shudder again as its cracks worsened.

That IBM's head was severely damaged and its form scattered on the spot.

But the Wind Calamity Queen didn't stop moving.

She saw the surrounding humanoid bandage monsters already swinging their claws toward her. A cold gleam flashed in her eyes as she leapt up with incredible agility.

She moved like a hunter weaving through the jungle, facing prey that counterattacked in madness. Using her flexible footwork and overwhelming strength, she wove through the IBMs' attacks, slaughtering them one by one.

"Women really are terrifying creatures…"

Watching the Wind Calamity Queen's savage brutality, Kizaru couldn't help clicking his tongue.

"With all these monsters wiped out… his face is going to be priceless."

He deliberately looked at Whiteflame, wanting to catch a glimpse of panic, confusion, or at least a sour expression on his face. But he was disappointed. Even as the monsters he'd summoned were destroyed one after another, Whiteflame's eyes remained calm and indifferent, without a hint of emotion.

The fight didn't last long.

In the blink of an eye, all twenty-three IBMs had been beaten apart and scattered into nothing.

"A good warm-up like this before killing someone really gets the blood flowing."

"I've taken care of all your weird little soldiers… Next up is you."

The Wind Calamity Queen's round, tiger-like pupils locked onto Whiteflame. Bloodlust surged as she licked the fur on the back of her hand, grinning like a madwoman.

"Is that so?"

"If you're feeling so refreshed… then let's do it again."

Whiteflame waved his hand.

Twenty-three IBMs re-formed behind him, emerging once more from swirling bandages.

The Wind Calamity Queen's manic grin froze.

Kizaru's mouth twitched.

In an instant, both their faces went ugly, as if they'd seen a ghost.

What kind of sick joke was this… He could summon such terrifying monsters infinitely?

What kind of freak was this guy?!

Both of them couldn't help feeling a sliver of emotion rise in their hearts—

Yes, for the first time, they felt fear toward Whiteflame.

"Go."

Whiteflame gave the order, and the twenty-three IBMs immediately pounced at the Wind Calamity Queen again.

"ROAR!!!"

The Wind Calamity Queen exploded, unleashing a thunderous roar. Her hands and feet hit the ground as her entire body transformed into a complete saber-toothed tiger!

Her saber-toothed tiger form was enormous, completely different from her earlier light, slender figure—her shoulders alone stood as tall as a grown man. Two huge fangs jutted out from her jaws, and the brown-yellow fur all over her body bristled as she glared forward with eyes full of bloodlust, murder… and wild, feral rage.

"I don't care how many times they come back! I don't believe you can summon them forever… however many show up, I'll kill that many!"

The Wind Calamity Queen roared madly, her body sweeping forward like a violent gale. With even greater agility and more terrifying power, she plunged back into brutal combat with the twenty-three IBMs.

"This isn't going to work…"

Kizaru could feel that things were headed in a bad direction.

A Marine Admiral, plus a top commander of a Yonko crew with a bounty of over 1.2 billion Beli—

and the two of them together still couldn't get this guy under control in short order?

And those humanoid bandage monsters were too bizarre—monstrous power, insane speed, abnormal reflexes, ridiculous regeneration… Every single trait was beyond ordinary.

Not only that, they obeyed Whiteflame's orders completely. They were essentially an undying army of slaughter.

At this moment, Kizaru finally understood why Fleet Admiral Sengoku had called Whiteflame "extremely dangerous"… Whiteflame's existence had completely exceeded his understanding.

"The core controlling those monsters is on him… so I'll just take him out in one go!"

Kizaru's eyes flashed as his body shot higher into the sky.

He crossed his hands, and his body erupted with blinding, dazzling radiance.

[Yasakani no Magatama]!

In the next second, countless orbs of light burst forth, falling like rain and covering the entire floating island, bombarding everything on it in an indiscriminate attack!

Chapter 95 – The Big Mom Pirates Arrive!

"So you still couldn't help but make a move, huh."

Whiteflame narrowed his eyes, looking up at the pouring storm of light bullets. He raised his hand.

The ground around him instantly turned into surging waves of white threads.

Deep beneath Cocoyasi Village, in unmined veins, the gold ore suddenly erupted from the earth, blasting upward in a torrent and, in the blink of an eye, arriving on the Nine Dragons.

[Golden Grand Shield Thread]!

Gold and white threads wove together perfectly, becoming strand after strand of golden thread, each coated in ultra-dense Armament Haki!

Those golden threads tangled together and finally formed a massive golden shield above the Nine Dragons, like a giant eggshell.

The rain of light bullets hammered into the golden shield, exploding with deafening bang bang bangs… but despite all the noise, they couldn't break through even a single layer of the shield.

Kizaru was indeed an Admiral, with power to match.

But this wide-area, indiscriminate attack spread his strength too thin. When those blasts landed on the massive golden shield, they couldn't produce any meaningful effect at all.

"What a headache you are…"

Seeing all of his attacks blocked, Kizaru's figure flashed again.

This time, he used his specialty—his light-speed kick. In an instant, he arrived before Whiteflame with incomparable speed, leg whipping upward, his foot glowing faintly with golden light as it shot straight at Whiteflame's head!

"Admiral Kizaru, no one's ever told you… that using the same move twice doesn't work as well?"

Suddenly, in time that seemed nearly frozen, Whiteflame turned his head. A chilling glint exploded in his eyes.

"What?!"

Kizaru's heart lurched. He didn't dare be careless. He aborted the kick on the spot, body shooting backward at top speed.

In battles decided in the blink of an eye, the outcome was often settled in that same instant.

Even though Kizaru used his fastest speed to retreat, he still couldn't completely avoid Whiteflame's strike.

"He actually reacted…"

Kizaru reached up and touched his neck. His fingers found a shallow cut across his throat, fresh blood seeping out.

When he saw his own blood on his fingertips, waves crashed in Kizaru's heart.

If he hadn't chosen to pull back just now—and instead forced a trade, blow for blow—then his neck might very well have been sliced clean through.

Kizaru's gaze grew heavy, the earlier relaxed attitude nowhere to be seen.

He was certain that if that kick had landed, Whiteflame's head would have exploded under his full force… but Whiteflame hadn't even tried to dodge. He'd launched his own attack head-on, fully prepared to trade his head for Kizaru's.

"This lunatic…"

That was Kizaru's new evaluation of Whiteflame.

"Sharp judgment, Admiral Kizaru."

Whiteflame looked at him calmly, holding a single thread still wrapped in ultra-dense Armament Haki between his fingers.

Just as Kizaru had sensed, Whiteflame had indeed been fully prepared to "trade lives" with him.

Of course, the final result… was obvious.
