Chapter 43 - Chapter 43 - Ritual

The air around Erdaline felt heavy as the plan to enter her dream was finalized.

North stood at the center of the chamber. Yuria was calm but alert. Raka remained silent, his frost authority faintly circulating. Cedar Puregreen observed quietly, her divine aura restrained but present. Archangel Graviel stood near the rear, wings folded, his expression unreadable.

And among them stood Lady Senna and Sol.

One body.

Two souls.

The Goddess of Solidity.

Their presence was not overwhelming, but it was undeniable. The ground beneath them felt denser, as if reality itself was reinforced.

' The lady called Yuria is strange, nah Senna?'

' Yes, it's feels like she is looking at herself as third POV.'

Sol spoke first, his voice steady and firm, "Entering the domain of a Primordial Goddess is not a tactical decision. It is a political one."

North did not look surprised.,"We don't have another option."

Senna's voice followed, calmer but equally authoritative.

"You always say that before stepping into danger."

North met her gaze.

"And you always warn me. But you don't stop me."

A brief silence settled between them.

Sol continued, "The Goddess of Dreams is not a minor divine entity. She is part of the Supreme Court of the Twelve Essential Gods. Her authority is recognized across all dimensions. Even we do not intrude into her domain lightly."

Yuria spoke carefully, "We are not intruding. We are negotiating."

Graviel's golden eyes shifted toward her,"Negotiation implies leverage."

Yuria answered evenly , "We have something she values."

Cedar glanced at her,"And what would that be?"

"Stability," Yuria replied,"If the God of Recognition descends prematurely, the balance between domains collapses. The Dream Domain will not remain untouched."

Senna observed her closely, "You speak confidently for someone who has never stood before a Primordial."

Yuria did not hesitate, "I have studied what remains of their traces. Patterns across civilizations. Ruins older than empires. Records that survived when entire faith systems vanished."

Sol narrowed his eyes slightly. "Knowledge is not authority."

"I know," Yuria said. "That is why we are not going to challenge her. We are going to ask."

Raka finally spoke, "And if she refuses?"

The question hung in the air.

North answered,"Then we adapt and do what's need to be done."

Sol's tone hardened slightly,"Adaptation works against mortals. Not against Primordials."

Graviel stepped forward slightly,"If things collapse inside the dream, I can sever the connection."

Yuria shook her head "Not if the Dream Domain seals itself. If she chooses to trap us, even your authority may not reach."

Cedar's expression grew serious , "Then why risk it?"

North's voice was calm,"Because doing nothing guarantees failure."

Another silence.

The tension shifted slightly.

Senna looked at North with a deeper expression, "You are changing."

North did not respond.

Sol continued, "Your emotional responses are decreasing. Your reactions are calculated. That is efficient. But it is not stable."

North finally answered,"Stability is survival."

Senna replied, "Stability without humanity becomes rigidity And rigidity breaks."

For a brief moment, the air felt tighter.

Yuria watched the exchange carefully. She understood the unspoken concern. If North continued losing emotional balance, even victory would cost too much.

Sol shifted the discussion back to the mission, "The Goddess of Dreams governs illusion, memory, and subconscious truth. She does not tolerate deception. If she questions you, answer directly."

Cedar added, "And do not attempt to hide your intent Dream authorities sense hesitation."

Graviel's wings moved slightly,"If hostility occurs, I will prioritize extraction."

Yuria spoke again, "No If hostility occurs, aggression will worsen the situationThis must remain controlled."

Raka looked at Senna and Sol, "Will you enter with us?"

Sol answered immediately, "No."

Senna clarified, "The Dream Domain is not under our authority. Solidity governs structure, matter, and foundation. Dreams are intangible. If we step fully into her domain, it can be interpreted as territorial interference."

North understood the implication,"The God of Law would take notice."

"Yes," Sol confirmed.

A faint pause followed.

"But," Senna continued, "we will not remain passive."

Everyone looked at her.

"We will reinforce the physical anchor of your bodies," she said. "If the Dream attempts to sever your connection completely, the foundation will resist."

Sol added, "It will not guarantee success. But it will reduce collapse probability."

That shifted the tension slightly.

Cedar nodded slowly. "Then the risk becomes manageable."

Graviel looked toward North, "Your decision."

North scanned the room. Raka stood ready. Cedar was composed. Graviel was steady. Senna and Sol were firm. Yuria remained focused.

Finally, North spoke.

"We proceed."

No one argued.

The political weight of the decision was clear. This was not just entering a dream. It was stepping into the domain of a Primordial Goddess while multiple Supreme Authorities observed the balance of power.

If handled correctly, nothing would change visibly.

If handled poorly, divine attention would shift.

And when Supreme Gods shift their attention—

History rewrites itself.

Senna and Sol closed their eyes together. A subtle pulse moved through the ground, reinforcing the foundation beneath each of them.

"Do not lose yourself," Senna said quietly.

"Do not provoke unnecessarily," Sol added.

North gave a small nod.

Yuria stepped closer to Erdaline.

"Once we enter," she said calmly, "there will be no room for hesitation."

The tension tightened again.

Then the ritual began.

_____________________________________

The chamber was sealed before the ritual began.

This was not a simple prayer, nor a reckless divine intrusion. Entering the Dream Domain required structure. If they treated it purely as magic, they would fail. If they treated it purely as science, they would also fail.

Yuria stood beside Erdaline and spoke in a calm, controlled tone.

"We are not forcing open the Dream Domain," she said. "We are building a bridge. A stable transition between consciousness and divine territory."

Raka crossed his arms. "And that works how?"

Yuria gestured toward the formation carved into the stone floor.

It was not filled with dramatic glowing symbols. Instead, it followed precise geometry.

Three concentric circles.

Twelve outer divisions.

Six anchor points aligned to direction and elemental balance.

"The geometry distributes mental pressure evenly," Yuria explained. "When multiple minds connect to a single dream source, imbalance causes collapse. Structure prevents that."

Graviel studied the lines,"You are stabilizing consciousness through symmetry."

"Yes," Yuria replied,"The mind responds to pattern. Even divine domains follow structural logic. Chaos without structure cannot sustain itself."

At the center lay Erdaline.

Her breathing was steady, but her spiritual signature fluctuated irregularly.

"The Dream Goddess governs the domain," Yuria continued, "but entry still requires resonance. A dream is a projection of subconscious energy. If we align our mental state with Erdaline's frequency, the domain will recognize us as connected rather than intrusive."

North spoke quietly. "So this is synchronization."

"Yes."

Cedar stepped forward slightly. "And the scientific part?"

Yuria answered clearly.

"We regulate breathing first. Slow breathing reduces neural instability. It lowers cognitive noise."

"Then we align heart rhythm. When individuals focus on a shared physical pattern breathing, pulse, or cadence their biological systems begin to synchronize. It is a documented phenomenon among trained units and deep meditation groups."

Raka frowned. "So our bodies align naturally?"

"To a limited extent," Yuria replied. "We are creating frequency overlap, not merging minds."

Sol, who had been silent, asked, "And what prevents rejection from the Dream Domain?"

"Identity retention," Yuria answered.

"We will not fall fully asleep. We enter the threshold state between wakefulness and dreaming. Enough depth to cross over. Enough awareness to maintain self."

Graviel nodded once. "And if someone loses control?"

"They risk partial assimilation into the dream construct," Yuria said evenly.

A brief silence followed.

Senna finally spoke,"And our role?"

Yuria inclined her head respectfully. "You reinforce the physical layer just like you said before."

Sol stepped forward slightly. "Solidity governs matter and foundation. We will anchor your bodies to the physical plane."

A subtle pressure moved through the stone floor.

"If the Dream attempts to sever the connection completely, your bodies will resist collapse," Sol continued.

"It will not protect your thoughts," Senna added calmly. "But it will prevent permanent detachment."

North looked at Erdaline, "What is the final trigger?"

"Shared memory," Yuria answered.

Everyone's attention shifted.

"Dream domains respond strongly to emotional anchors," she explained. "If we focus on real memories involving Erdaline stable ones it creates cognitive overlap."

"Overlap becomes a doorway."

Raka asked quietly, "What are the risks?"

Yuria did not avoid the question.

"There is a side effect."

The tension in the room tightened slightly.

"When multiple consciousness patterns synchronize," she continued, "memory boundaries weaken."

She spoke clearly, without dramatics.

"One or two participants may experience involuntary resurfacing of suppressed memories."

Cedar's expression sharpened. "Resurfacing?"

"Yes," Yuria said. "Memories that were buried intentionally. Emotions that were sealed by will. If those memories carry strong emotional weight, they may not remain private."

Graviel's eyes narrowed. "You mean others may see them."

"Yes."

Raka's jaw tightened slightly. "Without consent?"

"Without intention," Yuria corrected. "It is not exposure by force. It is resonance overflow."

She continued, steady and direct.

"If a memory is strongly repressed but unstable, synchronization pressure can destabilize it. The Dream Domain amplifies emotion. If that memory surfaces, it may manifest within the shared space."

North's voice was calm. "How likely?"

"Low," Yuria answered. "But not zero."

Sol spoke firmly. "Emotional instability inside a Primordial domain is dangerous."

"I know," Yuria replied. "That is why I am stating it clearly."

Senna looked at each of them. "If something surfaces, you do not react recklessly. You do not judge. You do not escalate."

Cedar nodded slowly.

Graviel remained composed.

Raka said nothing.

North spoke last. "We proceed anyway."

No one argued.

Positions were taken.

North stood opposite Yuria.

Raka moved to the northeast anchor.

Cedar took the southwest position.

Graviel stood at the rear axis.

Senna and Sol placed their palms lightly against the outer ring.

Yuria gave final instructions.

"Inhale for four counts. Hold for four. Release for four."

"Lower your pulse gradually."

"Clear stray thoughts."

Breathing synchronized.

The chamber grew quiet.

The air thickened but remained stable.

After several minutes, Yuria spoke softly.

"Focus on Erdaline."

"Recall a shared memory."

North remembered her stubborn determination during her first failure.

Raka remembered her challenging him without fear.

Cedar remembered her quiet compassion.

Graviel remembered her steady gaze during oath-binding.

The emotional frequencies overlapped.

A faint vibration spread through the formation.

"The bridge is forming," Yuria said quietly.

The edges of the chamber blurred.

Sound dulled.

Weight shifted.

Senna's voice echoed faintly. "Foundation stable."

Sol added, "Physical anchors secured."

The pressure increased not violent, but undeniable.

Yuria gave the final instruction.

"Maintain awareness."

"Do not resist the pull."

"And if something you buried begins to surface—"

"Hold your composure."

The air tightened.

The stone floor remained firm beneath them.

Then the world shifted.

Not like falling.

Not like teleportation.

It felt like slipping beneath still water.

Slow.

Controlled.

And irreversible.

The chamber vanished.

The Dream Domain opened.

And somewhere beneath the surface of their synchronized minds—

Something long buried began to stir.
