Emily Thomas no longer cared whether others knew about her relationship with Tobby Curry; she shoved past the police cordon, ran through the iron fence, and rushed to Tobby's side, shouting in anxiety and panic, "Tobby! Tobby!"
Brittany Scott and the others immediately ran over to check Tobby's abdomen, where a knife was still stuck, blood still pouring out. She hurriedly called out to the ambulance crew outside, "Doctor!"
The doctors and paramedics rushed over to lift Tobby onto the stretcher. Emily Thomas tightly gripped Tobby's hand, refusing to let go.
"Please let go, we need to take him to the hospital for treatment."
"I'm coming with you," Emily insisted stubbornly.
Brittany Scott gave the medical staff a look, and the doctor, with no other choice, had to let her accompany them into the ambulance.
Staring at Tobby's impossibly pale face, Emily recalled his earlier rage and dominance. Holding Tobby's hand tightly, she sighed, "Tobby, you've changed."
