Chapter 75 – A Conversation Between Three

Alastor, seeing Carmilla Carmine and Zestial leaving the room with their usual composed elegance, paused for a moment in the dimly lit hallway and said with a intrigued tone:

— How interesting.

He then turned his gaze to the little egg bouncing nervously beside him and said in a calm yet commanding voice:

— You, little oval creature, I have a job for you. Follow them and tell me what you hear, understood?

The little egg nodded eagerly and replied:

— Yes, boss.

It then scurried off after the two Overlords, its small form disappearing into the shadows of the corridor.

Alastor, watching the scene with a wide, static-filled smile, thought to himself with clear amusement:

These secrets you keep, I will discover.

On the other side of the city, in a much more chaotic part of Hell, Angel had taken Vaggie, Charlie, and the rest of the group to a notorious BDSM establishment. The air inside was thick with the scent of leather, sweat, and dim red lighting that cast long shadows across the walls lined with various restraints and tools.

Vaggie, seeing several sinners dressed in strange sadomasochism outfits wandering around, said angrily, her voice rising with disbelief:

— Angel, what the hell is this?

Angel smiled broadly, clearly enjoying the reaction, and said:

— There's nothing that builds more trust than this. There's no tighter bond than one made by bondage.

Charlie looked around with wide eyes, trying to process the scene, and said:

— Angel, it's good that you're excited, but I don't think this is the right way to build trust.

Vaggie, her frustration growing, said angrily while glaring at Angel:

— This isn't even a little bit the right way and it's not even a little good for us.

She said looking at Angel with pure anger.

Husk, who was surprisingly receiving a massage from one of the staff in the corner, glanced over and said in his usual gruff tone:

— You know, this isn't so bad.

At that moment Niffty appeared wearing a full dominatrix outfit, complete with whip and spiked heels, bouncing with excitement as she said:

— I'm in the mood to turn someone inside out.

Husk stood up quickly from the massage table, his face showing clear panic, and said:

— Forget it. Everything has a limit. I'm out.

Charlie, trying to keep things positive but clearly uncomfortable, said:

— This isn't very nice. I know you're trying hard, Angel, but I don't think this is exactly the right way.

Vaggie, now visibly furious, said angrily:

— I can't believe I let Angel bring you to this.

She said pulling Charlie away from the group and the chaotic environment.

Vaggie then turned to face the others and said firmly:

— Okay, so it looks like it'll have to be my way.

She then led them out to a street full of war and chaos — the kind of place where demons fought openly, gunshots echoed, and explosions lit up the dark sky every few seconds.

Charlie, looking at the confusion and gunshots down below with wide eyes, exclaimed in shock:

— What do you mean? Is this the way you intend to teach them trust?

Vaggie smiled confidently and said:

— There's nothing stronger than trust between two soldiers. So come with me, you little girls, because today you're going to become men.

She then grabbed Sir Pentious and threw him down below into the fray.

Sir Pentious screamed while flying through the air:

— I wasn't ready!

She then went to Angel and threw him too without hesitation.

Niffty got extremely excited, jumping up and down, and said:

— My turn! My turn!

Vaggie then grabbed her, but when she was about to throw, Charlie quickly held Niffty back and said:

— Vaggie, no.

She put Niffty gently on the ground and looked at Vaggie with determination, saying:

— This way isn't correct. They have to improve in another way so they can achieve redemption.

Vaggie said, still convinced of her approach:

— But only like this will they learn, Charlie.

Charlie replied calmly but firmly:

— I know you're trying to help, Vaggie, but if they don't improve without the use of violence it's impossible for them to achieve redemption.

Vaggie said sighing deeply, her shoulders slumping a bit:

— I know, but today when I took responsibility everything went wrong. I should make your dreams come true because I protect you. I can't fail you.

They then heard a familiar calm voice behind them:

— But you didn't fail, Vaggie.

They turned their faces and looked at Razan sitting casually on the ground nearby, watching the whole scene with a relaxed expression.

Razan stood up and walked over to them with his usual easygoing stride.

Razan smiled and approached Vaggie, gently putting his hand on her face as he said:

— You didn't fail. You just made a small mistake and that's normal. We make mistakes and keep trying until we succeed.

He kissed her lightly on the lips and said softly:

— Don't forget: you're not alone anymore to take care of Charlie. So even if there's some problem, I'll be here to help you both.

Vaggie, hearing this, gave a small, genuine smile and said:

— Yes, then I think I can count on your help from now on.

Razan smiled warmly and replied:

— You always can.

Charlie, seeing this tender moment between them, hugged both of them happily and said with bright enthusiasm:

— That's it, Vaggie. We're a family. We'll never be alone. The situation may be difficult, but we have each other, right? We're going to make it.

Vaggie smiled calmly, her earlier tension easing, and said:

— Yes, we're going to make it
