"Well, it seems that the people who came with you are wary of you. Are they just weak? Or are you really so interesting?" The leader of the other team, Yan Ying said to Cloud.
He is facing off with Cloud. The two hasn't start clashing yet.
The others are already fighting their battles at this point.
"Won't you find that out soon enough?" Cloud said calmly.
"You're right, well I hope you don't disappoint me too much." Yan Ying then enter his stance after saying that.
Cloud also follows without saying anything more.
The two then begin their battle. They start with a clash of fists. When that happened, a hint of surprise appears in Yan Ying's eyes.
The force was equal. They then continue while slightly increasing their power bit by bit. The first one was just testing the water.
It doesn't take long until Yan Ying used his full strength. He is surprised to find that Cloud is still calmly taking the blows head on.
His face already turned serious at this point. He didn't expect much. He thought that he would easily beat everyone from this new batch of disciples.
Even at the last competition he easily defeated the other two that came with him.
But unexpectedly, there is someone who seems to be able to keep up with him.
At this point, Yan Ying doesn't hold back anymore. He unleash his strongest strength and uses his full speed.
Cloud is just countering with similar strength. As for speed, he hasn't even moved much.
While the battle is starting to get heated, Cloud speak to Yan Ying, "Hmm, You'll do."
"What are you talking about?" Yan Ying asked warily.
Cloud then pointed to Yan Ying's back. Yan Ying, following Cloud's finger, look behind him.
His eyes widened. He is surprised to find that the two from Cloud's group has already standing, watching him.
He didn't find the two from his group. He then understand that they must've already lost.
This, makes him think. The two from his group is indeed incomparable to him but they still aren't ordinary.
The two of them has already reached Stage Nine, Indicating that they have some background.
But to lose this quickly. It's only been a few minutes since the two groups clashed.
Yan Ying can't believe this is happening.
"Having fun watching the show?" Cloud said to Fang Yue and Xiao Fan.
"It was alright. But it would've been more fun if you were serious." Said Xiao Fan.
"Hurry up and finish it. Then we can continue our battle." Fang Yue added from the side.
Hearing the three ignoring him and chat amongst themselves enraged Yan Ying. They are looking down on him too much.
Their conversation also indicates so.
But he still didn't attack recklessly. After all he is alone now and there are still three opponents left.
"You see, while you guys were fighting, I suddenly thought of a great idea." Cloud said with a smile. "I think the two of you are not enough. How about you three fight together instead? I want to see if I can go beyond the level of stage nine."
Xiao Fan, Fang Yue, and Yan Ying became displeased when they heard that. Cloud is looking down on everyone.
Especially Xiao Fan and Fang Yue who has experienced being a stepping stone for Cloud's improvement before.
They certainly didn't like the feeling. I mean what are they, a training dummy?
"If that's what you want, sure! But don't cry later when you lose." Said Xiao Fan with a little anger.
Fang Yue just frown slightly while she look at Yan Ying, waiting for his reaction.
She is displeased because she is being looked down upon but she can't beat Cloud by herself either so she doesn't have any choice but to accept Cloud's terms.
Yan Ying is frowning deeply. He wonders if this is the opponent's plan to get rid of him.
It's seems way too far fetched that Cloud really want to do what he said. For him who doesn't know Cloud, this is more like a trap.
Even though Yan Ying can admit that Cloud is strong, but fighting three by himself, why would he wanna do that? For improving further like he said? That sounds like bullshit.
But he doesn't reject the idea right away. After all, it beats him fighting the three himself.
If what Cloud said is really true and they can get rid of him, then that would be better for Yan Ying.
As for Xiao Fan and Fang Yue, Yan Ying is confident that he can defeat them later.
But, he would still proceed with caution and monitor the situation closely so that when the situation turn, he can react right away.
"I'll take the front. You guys flank him." Said Yan Ying.
The two then move to their own position. Three of them are surrounding Cloud in a triangle position.
Cloud smile looking at this. "That's more like it." He said before he turn serious.
Then it begins.
Yan Ying is clashing with Cloud from the front. Xiao Fan and Fang Yue is using their speed and attack when they found an opportunity.
Now, Cloud can't be as relax as before. He is using his full strength to fight and his full speed to dodge.
But even so, the three's combined attacks are overpowering him. He is being pushed back. It doesn't take long before the attacks from the three start hitting him.
And yet, Cloud is still smiling. He fight with all his might.
He starts trying things. From changing his target to utilizing his speed.
But nothing works. All the things he tried failed. Damage starts to accumulate in his body.
Yet he keeps fighting. Since strategy didn't work he start to fight head on.
Every oncoming hits, he try intercept with his own. But he only have two hands. He can't intercept every blows that are coming toward him.
The opponent have six hands. No matter how fast he is, Cloud can't intercept every single one.
He avoid some while others hit him. This scene persist for a while.
Bruises start to appear throughout Cloud's body. A little blood came out of his lips.
But the three still can't push him out of the light dome. They are already doing their best. They didn't even hold back and their target has always been to push Cloud out.
They didn't even have other plans like beating Cloud until he surrender or knocking him out.
Pushing him out should've been the easiest way to beat him. But even after such a long time, they're still unsuccessful.
"Let's just overwhelm him with a barrage. Attack him from one side to push him to the other. I'm afraid if we take too long something bad might happen." Xiao Fan said while a bad premonition is rising in his heart.
It was always like this. Fighting Cloud too long usually ends in him improving further.
The three moves right away. All attacking Cloud from the front. They start pushing him with their endless barrage.
Cloud is attacking back as much as he can. But some blows still hit him and push him back. Yet, he persist.
At one point when he nears the light dome.
Something is starting to happen.
The blows that are clashing with Cloud's start to get blown back.
Ah! Pained exclamation start to come out of the three's mouth. Their faces are also showing how much pain they're in.
Cloud's strength improved further. His punches is not something the three can face head on anymore.
But the light dome are already behind Cloud. The three refuses to give up.
They gritted their teeth and continue. But instead of facing Cloud's blows head on, they focus more on the speed of their blows instead of strength.
More blows are coming toward Cloud. But he doesn't focus on his advantage. Instead, he also focus on speed.
His speed also starts to get faster. He hit most of the attacks that are coming toward him.
With his superior strength, he easily forces the three to take a step back.
They can't continue anymore that they have to take a step back.
Exchanging blows with Cloud is way too painful that it makes their faces grimace in pain.
Cloud smile wider at this point and he turn toward Xiao Fan. "Here comes the beating!" Said Cloud while charging with a wicked smile.
"Shit!" Cursed Xiao Fan while he look at the charging Cloud with dread. He start running to the opposite direction.
Cloud is chasing after Xiao Fan.
The other two react a bit late and they start to chase as well to help Xiao Fan. They know that if one of them get taken out, then their chance of winning would become zero.
But since they reacted late, they are already behind Cloud.
And Xiao Fan is just running blindly. Cloud scares him so much that he can't even think anymore.
Xiao Fan is fleeing in full speed. But the distance with Cloud is shortening. Cloud is obviously faster.
The other two who saw this from the back is shocked. They are also chasing with full speed but their distance with Cloud is widening.
It doesn't take long for Cloud to catch up to Xiao Fan.
When he sense Cloud's presence behind him, it was like Xiao Fan is seeing a ghost.
He got scared out of his wits.
Cloud starts beating Xiao Fan with a wicked smile as soon as he catches up.
Xiao Fan throw away any resistance and just cover his head with his arms. He keeps running, he didn't dare stop.
They run until the other side of the dome. Cloud keep beating Xiao Fan throughout the way.
He only stop when they reach the light wall of the dome, while Xiao Fan keep running through the wall.
Seeing Xiao Fan out of the competition, Cloud turn to the other two.
He charge toward Yan Ying because he is the closest. Yan Ying was faster when the two were chasing.
The two clash but unlike Xiao Fan, Yan Ying face Cloud head on.
They exchange blows but Yan Ying is quickly overwhelmed. He got hit a lot and some blows that he can hit only hurts his hands.
Yet he persist while shouting. He doesn't back down at all.
But the damage starts to accumulate and he starts to get weaker. By the time Fang Yue arrive, Cloud has already kick Yan Ying out of the dome.
Yan Ying has already became limp by then so he got pushed out easily.
Seeing the other two got beaten and out of the competition, Fang Yue froze for a moment.
She look at Cloud who's looking at her with a wicked smile then she shivers. Remembering the two that was just beaten, she quickly run toward the nearest dome wall.
She willingly gives up rather than being beaten. She can't beat Cloud by herself anyway.
