As Xiao Fan is rushing to get help and Fang Yue is working on the blocked path, Cloud is still running toward the deeper part of the cave.
The cave seems very big. Even after running for a while, Cloud still has not see the end.
While running, Cloud also check for a way out in the wall to his right and left.
This cave section is very long but the width can be seen wall to wall from the middle.
Still, it is very wide. Cloud think that the width must be more than 20 meters.
As Cloud keep on running, he can hear the roar of the boar coming from behind him from time to time.
Cloud doesn't think too much about this and focus all his attention on searching for a way out.
He keep on running deeper, looking for the end.
But even after minutes, he still hasn't see the end.
As Cloud continue running deeper, he start to notice that the surrounding world qi has become more and more abundant.
It has surpassed the world qi on the Elder's Peak by a far amount.
Cloud even start to think that the world qi here is perhaps more dense than it is in the inner sect.
But he haven't gone into or seen the inner sect so he doesn't know for sure.
Even then, he's willing to bet that the abundant world qi here is not something that can commonly be found.
When Cloud is thinking about this while he kept running in a daze, a loud roar of the boar startled him awake.
The roar has become louder so that means the boar is definitely closer.
Cloud then forget his thoughts about the world qi. He doesn't have time to think about that for the time being.
He must first focus on finding a way out so that he can survive.
Cloud then back to actively looking for a way out. But he is a bit dejected that there doesn't seem to be any opening at all that can be found on the side wall.
The side wall seems to be a thick underground wall without any opening or path at all.
Another loud roar came and Cloud turn his head to look behind him.
He can see that the boar has already found and catch up to him.
Cloud became desperate at this point.
The distance between him and the boar quickly shrinking. He doesn't have much time before it catches up.
Cloud quickly look around, hoping that he could find something he can use that would save him from the boar.
But there is nothing around this cave. There isn't even any pillar that should've been necessary to support such a spacious space.
Cloud then turn to his front, hoping that he could see the end. But the path in front of him still seems endless. Even after running for so long he still has not reach the end.
He doesn't even see anything that would indicate the end.
By this time, the boar is already right behind him. As Cloud turn to check, he found that it is already dangerously close.
Cloud turn and run toward the wall on his right. The boar is chasing him closely.
As Cloud reach the wall, he doesn't stop and run up the wall. After running up three meters, he use the wall as support to jump higher.
Just as he jump, the boar charge and crash into the wall, narrowly missing Cloud.
Now Cloud is falling toward the boar. He ready his right arm and prepare it to punch the boar.
With a shout, he unleash his punch into the boar's upper body.
Cloud hit as hard as he could and the punch only make a 'thud' sound, followed by a held back pained scream.
Cloud felt like hitting a concrete wall. That punch only hurt his hand and it doesn't seem to affect the boar at all.
He think that it'd be nice if he have his weapon now. But he had thrown his blade before and didn't have the time to retrieve it.
So with nothing else he can do, Cloud run on top of the boar into a nearby wall.
Once he is close enough, he jump off the boar, toward the wall, then reach for the wall to slow his fall.
He manage to land on the ground safely but the boar has turn to him already.
Cloud quickly run again into the deeper part of the cave.
