Synopsis
Yanling never expected death to be the beginning of her story. One moment she was a brilliant, beautiful girl from the modern world- and the next, she opened her eyes in a realm that looked like ancient China, a world where spells whispered through mountains, clans ruled with power, and magic was as real as blood. But Yanling was not an ordinary traveler. Her presence in this world breaks its natural order. Old prophecies wake. Sealed spirits tremble. And every clan either wants to control her... or destroy her. Amidst this chaos stands Xuan Lingchen, the cold, merciless Head of the Shadow Moon Clan, a man feared more than the darkness his clan commands. Silent. Unreachable. A blade in human form. A man who never received love- and never believed he deserved it. Yet the first time he sees Yanling, his fate shifts. She is the only one who doesn't fear him. The only one he cannot read. The only one who makes his frozen magic react. And she... She discovers that beneath his terrifying aura lives a broken soul no one ever touched. In a world where magic kills, clans betray, and destiny hunts them both, Yanling must decide- Is Xuan Lingchen her greatest danger... or the only person who will burn the world to protect her?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: the strange feeling

She arrived at her office earlier than anyone else, as always. The quiet morning suited her. No meetings, no board members, no reporters waiting to ask how a twenty-seven-year-old woman became the CEO of one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the country.

Only silence, coffee, and the soft hum of the elevator closing behind her.

She walked across the marble flooor, her heels echoing in the empty corridor. People often said she was intimidating - too calm, too controlled, too perfect. But yanling knew the truth: calmness was her armor. In the business world, emotions were weaknesses people waited to exploit. She rearly talks to people and never open up with anyone.

She unlocked her office, the largest room on the twenty-fifth floor, with a view that stretched across the entire city. Soft morning light filled the space, touching the awards on the shelves, the plants she kept alive despite her busy schedule, and the neatly arranged documents on her desk.

She set her bag down and set in her leather chair.

Her days were always packed -meetings, negotiations, international calls. People admired her success, but no one understood the loneliness that came with it. She had built everything herself, step by step, sacrifice by sacrifice.

Sometimes, she wondered if this world truly belonged to her.

She opened her laptop and skimmed through the reports. Everything felt normal -- almost too normal. Every number was correct, every plan on track, every department functioning exactly as she expected.

Yanling leaned back slightly, resting her head against the chair.

There was a strange feeling again.

A quiet, familiar pull somewhere deep inside her.

Not painful, not frightening... just there.

Something she had felt since childhood, but leared to ignore.

A feeling that she was meant for something different - something bigger than running a company.

She looked out the window, watching the city move like a living machine. Cars, people, building, lights... Everthing in perfect, predictable motion.

Her assistant knocked lightly on the door, pulling her thoughts back.

"Good morning, Mrs. Yan", the assistant said softly.

Yanling straightened. "Good morning. Let's begin."

Her normal life continued - polished, disciplined, perfect on the outside.

But somewhere beneath that perfect surface, something in the world had already began to shift... Quietly, slowly... Waiting for the right moment.
