Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Eye of Two Hundred – No Returns

Lynn said calmly, "This is a small business. No barter. Don't worry, I only want your right eye. You can come back to me later when you earn enough money to redeem it."

The girl o(╥﹏╥)o sobbed, 'Okay... alright... uuuuuh!'

 ...

A few minutes later.

Lynn calmly washed the blood off her hands.

The eyeballs are then placed in bottles of a special reagent and labelled.

Then he turned around and looked at the girl who was covering one of her eyes (x﹏╥o), saying politely:

Welcome back to Blood Saw Pharmacy. We are here to serve you.

Lynn bowed.

The girl walked out hugging her doll with a pout, her voice echoing in the distance.

I should go find Mommy now. I won't come back again. Uuuu... Black Shop...

[Current task completion: 2%]

Lynn was taken aback.

And when I looked out the door again, the girl's figure had already vanished into the darkness.

Completion rate 2%?

Lynn's eyes immediately fell on the plate on the counter, where several organs had been extracted from the girl's stomach.

[Unknown Woman's Hair x50]

[The Unknown Woman's Ears x2]

[An Unknown Woman's Combs x1]

Lyn :"..."

have to say .

He did have a terrible guess.

Lynn stood up, washed those parts thoroughly, and sealed them in a bottle, ready to tell the girl about it when she came next time.

He opened his panel.

Thanks to the previous reward, he earned 50 surgery skill points and an extra 50 Skull Coins.

The customer's money belongs to the shop, and he cannot touch it.

So he now has a total of 150 Skull Coins in his possession.

Skull Coin is the base currency of the world he now inhabits, serving as a universal medium of exchange. Yet over the past two years, Lynn has never left this shop.

So he didn't have a chance to use it.

But money is never a problem.

Time is flying.

With eyes shut and a bone knife in hand, Lynn stood like a statue.

The soul lamp at the doorway symbolizes a rule, warning the wandering spirits in the darkness that this is a realm governed by a master, and any malicious words will inevitably face their consequences.

Most wandering spirits don't invade when the spirit lamp lights up.

Within the homestead protected by the Soul Lamp, the owner can summon it to suppress any invading evil spirits or ghosts whenever needed.

Yet among them are some utterly evil spirits and ghosts, fearless of heaven and earth.

For them.

There are no rules in this world that are followed.

Dong dong dong —

This is the time.

Another knock came from outside the door.

" welcome ."

Lynn opened her eyes.

Lin instantly spotted a burly, pig-headed monster looming before the gate. Its bloodied eye had no eyeball, a crimson apron draped over its body, and it clutched a butcher's knife that appeared freshly sharpened.

A panel suddenly appeared before Lynn.

Pighead Demon

[Level]: 21

Race: Deformed Monster

[Attribute]: Orderly Evil

[Combat Ability]: As long as you're willing to be devoured...

[Profile: The owner of Youhun Lane Pork Shop is your 'friendly' neighbor. He's always happy to share his freshly butchered game with you—or even with others...]

[Lynn's San Value-5]

"Bad luck!" The pig-headed demon cursed, clutching his eyes, and said:

"Wasn't it because there was no useless trash for that old woman, she took one of my eyes. Next time I see her, I'll make sure... make sure... pah!"

He spat out a foul-smelling phlegm and kept cursing.

And immediately, Lin En's mind echoed with the system's prompt.

" walk up ."

Lynn sat motionless at the counter, silently gripping the bone cutter in her hand.

The pig-headed demon strode in, his soul lamp flashing with a hiss.

A pungent, blood-stained odor filled the room, making Lynn feel nauseous.

The Pighead Demon slumped onto the counter stool, his single, razor-sharp pig's eye fixed on Lynn. Glancing westward, he said:

Blood Saw, come out and swap an eye for mine—I'll trade it for a prime catch!

Lynn remained calm and said quietly:

The teacher is out on business. If you need anything, just let me know.

The pig-headed demon paused, then turned his head, squinting his eyes and locking onto Lynn as if inspecting a piece of meat.

" softly chant ?"

Ding! The risk has increased to 89%

Though turmoil surged in Lynn's heart, her face remained composed.

But his decision was right.

If you try to deceive the pork demon by claiming your teacher is in the backyard, he'll immediately notice something's off and strike back.

And your candor might just make the other person wary.

"What kind of eyeballs do you need?" Lynn turned and silently pointed to the eyeballs soaking in reagents on the cabinet.

We have human eyes, pig eyes, undead eyes, bat eyes, and blood doll eyes here. Pick whichever catches your eye—their prices vary.

The pig-headed demon's eyes flashed with a sinister light, revealing a mouth full of fangs, and a pungent stench of his breath filled the air.

"I think your eyes are pretty good."

He stuck out his tongue and licked the dry, cracked corners of his mouth.

[Lin En San Value-10]

Ding! The risk has increased to 91%

Lynn knew that if he showed even the slightest weakness now, the Pighead Demon would strike without hesitation.

" mine ?"

Lynn turned her head and looked at him calmly.

Then, under the savage gaze of the pig-headed demon, Lynn slowly extended three fingers and, right before his eyes, slid them into his own eye sockets, slowly and methodically gouging out his right eye.

Chirp—chirp—

[Click! Host Life Lost!]

[Click! Host organ missing!]

A few seconds later, Lynn spread his eyeballs in his palm and handed them to him.

[Pighead Demon's SAN reduced by 20!]

"But he remained unperturbed.

A 200 Skull Coin. No returns if it doesn't match.

The pig-headed demon was stunned.

He never imagined that this seemingly frail human before him could so ruthlessly gouge out his eyeballs right before his eyes.

As the scavenger gouged out his eyeball, he let out agonizing screams that lasted for what seemed like an eternity.

And he still managed to stay calm.

Ding! The risk has been reduced to 50%
