Even without turning my head, I felt the heated gaze of someone who was ready to watch a good show, he was able to pull enough strings and put me on stage, all for that goal of his, severely embarrassing young master Lu Jian through me, forcing me to a dead end as well, but he would have never expected the words that came out of my mouth next, answering the young master, I said :
" Can I postpone declaring my wish to after this was over .
The moment those words left my mouth, no one reacted at first, but soon the people on the audience fell into an uproar and began cursing at me for being so arrogant and disrespectful, I didn't understand why was that at first, but soon enough, I was able to understand that my words seemed to be indeed taken as an insult to my other competitors, but even though those words of mine was out of confidence .
I still hadn't shown much of ability to back this confidence up and I'm really joining this competition to win it, if before I was joining because I was forced to, then now after getting a chance to make a wish out of the young master of the family, this had changed, I will be doing my best to make use of this chance .

After I arrived on that stage, I had already decided to throw all the face I had with that guy away, I was trying to widen the gap between us for all different kinds of reasons, he forcing me to fight on the stage was one of the first reasons .

I couldn't help but sigh at realizing that Deacon Lu who looked to be in his 40s had already been surpassed by his son in term of Martial Arts, I don't know why this weird thought suddenly came to my mind, but I found it a bit funny and to think that guy was already being labeled by some as the young master, even though the rightful young master was still alive and kicking .

His eyes still hold a deep resentment towards me, but with his character that wss quite understandable, I shifted my attention back to the opponent of mine that had already come upstage when I wasn't aware, I only noticed him due to the fact that I heard him greeting of the young master and stating that he wished for some Flesh Tempering Pills and Blood Coagulation Pills .

Seeing me go silent, the guy that seemed to be older than me said no more and got in a fighting position, I too imitated him and stood in a similar position to him raising both of my fist in front of me but a bit distance away from my body unlike in boxing .
Someone suddenly appeard in the ring beside us, he was wearing similar clothes to Lu Tu, so I suspected that he was from the Law Enforcement Team, he hopped into the ring in a swift motion and said coldly :

As I was standing there looking at the rows of people that still seemed to be fighting over who will challenge me next, I heard the cold voice of the referee, asking me if I was still in a good shape to continue, I nodded my head and he looked at me a bit strangely, shook his head then said : Next .
The fight just now was quite short due to the fact that both me and my opponent seemed to be quite amateur, but I hold the advantage in that fight due to the fact that even though both of us were amateurs, I was an amateur with a more refined Martial Skills and vigorous Blood Qi, I wasn't able to gain much combat experience, but I was able get a first one that had made my heart be a bit more at ease .
But I reminded myself that that Lu Bu might have been picked by the other guys there to challenge me, just so that he can test the waters, the real challenging opponents will begin to appear more from now on .
I was looking at who will be my enemy next and saw that my new opponent was quite the short guy, unlike the guy from before this guy wasn't talkative, he bowed to the young master, then he got a shabby dagger that he seemed to have crafted himself out of his pocket, then he got in a fighting position .
I did the same and wondered what kind of style will that guy choose to fight me with, just as I was thinking of this the referee gave the signal to start .
The moment that the fight began, I waited to see what will that guy do, unlike the previous opponent of mine, that guy began to close the distance between us moving slowly towards me with the dagger at hand, seeing that he was at a close distance from me .
He began trying to stab me without the help of any kind of Martial Skills, he relied only on his proficiency with daggers, every strike he made were quite dangerous and life-threatening, but the referee didn't say anything, so it was allowed .
I wasn't able to evade some of his thrust or upper slashes which ending in cleaving some of my hair strands, I kept using Crouching Tiger to make some distance between us .
But each and every time, he seemed to be able to close the distance almost instantly using brilliant footwork, his movements were quite precise, he only moved when I did and when I'm not moving, he would be thrusting that dagger at me from all different angles .
It was only my second opponent and I was already at a disadvantage, there were more than a dozen people, I needed to beat after this guy, I tried to use Thunderclap Fist to finish this already, but the moment I will be trying to punch, he seemed to be anticipating it, he will directly retreat, creating distance between us and giving me enough room to catch my breath and plan my next course of actions .
Even though I still didn't have any scars on my body, my clothes were different thing, they couldn't be recognized no more due to how many cuts, the vest and the trouser were both in taters .
As I was checking my clothes, I stared at my waist and was reminded that I had forgot to strapp my iron sword in my hurriedness, it could hve helped me in winning this without much of a problem, the sword reach was better than the dagger, so it could have given me a bit of advantage .
I wanted to keep as many hidden cards in my sleeves as possible, not sure what will I face next, not to mention that by going all out, I might be exposing myself to that Lu Chiang, but there was no more helping it, I will be forced to use one of those hidden cards early .
I seeing that the guy in front of me was still unmoving and his breathing was a bit rigid, even though his face still as cold as before without showing much of discomfort, I began to guess what was going on with that guy's weird state and footwork .
I directly appeard on front of that guy using the Small Success Crouching Tiger and the Small Success Thunderclap Fist, the results was that this guy tried to block using the body of the dagger of his, but that was purely out of instinct, my fist had already arrived in front of his face, while he was trying to adjust his body, he stared at me with wide eyes and dropped the dagger unconsciously on the ground .
The referee was quite for a while and the whole audience went silent as well, then his senses seemed to comeback to him and soon enough, he declared me as the winner, then the audience went into an uproar and the loud chanting began to broke out directly after .
People whose knowledge was a bit lacking, know that they had witnessed something crazy and was wondering what it was, but those with discerning eyes were able to see what happened more clearly and some were able to tell more than others .

The guy in front of me seemed to be suddenly startled by the loud noise and he cupped his fist at me and said those few words calmly then descended from the stage after picking his dagger up .
That was the first time I heard that guy's voice and I couldn't help but appreciate him a little, even though he was trying to stap me just now, after that guy left, I felt countless eyes fall on me, all scanning me up, making my skin crawl, if I were to fight in this kind of state, I would certainly lose without a doubt .
