Chapter 50: The Bullied Girl
Yu Tianlin stared in shock at the mass of dark blue lightning crackling around his dragon claw.
He could clearly sense that the electric current in his right claw was twice as strong as when he used Thousand Birds. In other words, it was providing an attack power increase of 200.
To sum it up:
Using Thousand Birds alone, Yu Tianlin's attack power increased by 100. Using dragon transformation alone, his attack power also increased by 100. When the two were stacked, the combined boost from Thousand Birds and dragon transformation was 200.
The key was this. The enhanced version of Thousand Birds that Yu Tianlin had just developed, when used together with dragon transformation, could push his attack power increase to a terrifying 300.
And that still was not the end. He could also stack his second Spirit Skill, Thunder Dragon Claw, for another 100 points of attack power.
There was also his speed.
As the current in his dragon claw intensified, the lightning that spread from his right arm through his entire body became even more violent. When he used Thousand Birds before, the stimulation of his body's activity already increased his speed by 50 percent. Now, with the current doubled, his body was driven even harder under the fierce electric stimulation. Yu Tianlin could clearly feel that his speed increase had risen to about 100 percent.
"It is twice as strong as Thousand Birds in every way, so let us call this Raikiri."

Letting out a long breath, Yu Tianlin dispersed the lightning from his hand and released dragon transformation. The feeling of his Spirit Power pouring out like floodwater instantly vanished.
"Dragon transformation, Raikiri, and Thunder Dragon Claw together can raise my attack power by 400. This is my strongest attack for now."
Thinking of this, Yu Tianlin could not help but shake his head.
The technique was unbelievably powerful, but its consumption was also terrifying. It was not something that could be used casually and would have to be kept as a trump card.
"For now, I should meditate and recover my Spirit Power."
The night passed quickly.
The next day, after Thunder Academy held a farewell ceremony for the students of the other four elemental academies, staff members immediately began dismantling and cleaning the five arenas on the playground. Because of that, the students did not have to attend classes.

From what he knew, the reason Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan were corroded by poison was because both possessed beast Martial Souls and cultivated poison techniques. Over time, the venom had completely fused with their bodies.

Asking Dugu Bo would be pointless as well. He definitely did not know either.
There was no need to rush, though. There was still a lot of time.
Yu Tianlin felt torn simply because he wanted the best of both worlds. His elder brother liked Dugu Yan, so of course he hoped to cure her, and then take advantage of the situation to quietly make the immortal herbs at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well his own.
If he was really forced into a corner in the future, Yu Tianlin still had plenty of ways to handle it.

Unable to find Yu Tianheng in the classroom, Yu Tianlin had no choice but to ask the other students. The answers he got were all the same.
Looking around the classroom of Class One, Year One again, Yu Tianlin noticed that Dugu Yan and the Shi brothers were also absent. He frowned slightly.
"Then where did they go?"
"How should I know?"
The student he questioned was clearly impatient. After suffering through the morning's lessons, he was just waiting to dash out and play once class ended. Being stopped and interrogated naturally put him in a bad mood.
Yu Tianlin did not take it to heart. His elder brother never interacted with these people much to begin with. It would be strange if they knew where Yu Tianheng went.
"I should check the Tianwei level. Yu Feng, Osler, and Ye Lingling are all in Tianwei Class One. They should know something."
With that thought, Yu Tianlin headed toward the Tianwei Tower.
However, when he arrived, the scene that greeted him made his expression darken.
In a corner of the outer wall, three male students in light yellow school uniforms were surrounding someone. The person surrounded by them seemed to be a girl.
Through the gaps between the three figures, Yu Tianlin could faintly make out black clothing.
A girl in black.
Yu Tianlin's heart moved slightly as a guess flashed through his mind. He immediately walked in that direction.
As he drew closer, the voices of the three male students became clearly audible.
The one in the middle had bright red hair and a sinister grin on his face.
"Hehe, little sister, what are you doing wearing a black veil in broad daylight? Did you do something shameful?"
The two on either side were clearly his lackeys. One of them said in a mockingly serious tone, "That must be it. This Ye Lingling wears a veil every day. It cannot be because she is too ugly, right?"
Yes.
The girl who was being surrounded was Ye Lingling.
The other follower chimed in, "Whatever the reason, we will know once we lift it."
"Mm, that makes sense."
The red haired youth in the middle spoke with exaggerated righteousness. "Heaven Dou Royal Academy is directly under my uncle's jurisdiction, so I naturally have a duty to help him maintain discipline. A student who hides her face like this must be hiding something. I will expose her true colors."
As he spoke, he reached out toward Ye Lingling, clearly intending to lift the veil covering her face.
