Chapter 7 - *Chapter 7: The Truth Reveals

*Chapter 7: The Truth Reveals*

I swam alongside Zac and the mermaids, feeling a sense of unease. The rogue mermaids, led by the mysterious and powerful leader, were becoming more and more aggressive. We needed to stop them, but we didn't know how.

As we swam, I couldn't help but feel like I was missing something. Something big. I thought back to the show my sister used to watch, Mako Mermaids, and suddenly, it hit me.

The show wasn't just a show. It was a warning. A warning about the dangers of the ocean, and the secrets that lay beneath the surface.

And I was a part of it.

I stopped swimming, my mind reeling with the realization. I was a part of the show. I was a character in a TV series, and I had been transported from my world into theirs.

The mermaids and Zac stopped swimming and turned to me, concerned. "Ethan, what's wrong?" Sirena asked, her voice full of worry.

I shook my head, trying to process the information. "I know the truth," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I know that I'm in a TV show."

The mermaids exchanged worried glances, and Zac looked confused. "What are you talking about, Ethan?" he asked.

I took a deep breath, trying to explain. "I'm from a different world, Zac. A world where people watch TV shows about mermaids and magic. And I was transported here, into this world, as a character in the show."

The mermaids and Zac stared at me, their expressions shocked. "That's impossible," Ondina said, her voice shaking.

I shook my head, feeling a sense of sadness. "It's not impossible, Ondina. It's the truth. And I think it's the key to stopping the rogue mermaids."

As I finished speaking, the water around us began to ripple and distort. The rogue mermaids emerged from the shadows, their leader, a powerful and ruthless mermaid named Evie, sneering at us.

"Well, well, well," Evie said, her voice dripping with malice. "Look what we have here. The little merman and his friends, trying to stop us."

I glared at Evie, my mind racing with a plan. But before I could act, Zac stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger.

"You're not going to hurt anyone else," Zac said, his voice firm.

Evie laughed, and the rogue mermaids attacked.

I raised my hands, ready to defend myself and the others, but Zac was faster. He used his powers to deflect the attack, and the mermaids flew back.

As the battle raged on, I realized that Zac was getting stronger, but I was also getting weaker. I was losing my powers, and I didn't know why.

And then, everything went black.

As I floated in the darkness, I heard a voice, echoing in my mind. "Ethan, wake up. It's not safe here."

I opened my eyes to find myself surrounded by the mermaids and Zac, their expressions worried. "Ethan, what's happening?" Sirena asked, her voice shaking.

I looked at her, my heart racing with fear. "I don't know," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "But I think I'm losing my powers. And I think someone is trying to kill me."
