Veronica's POV
I decided against returning to Richards Estate. Instead, I reached out to Rosalind and Harvey, filling them in on what was happening and asking if they'd watch the children.
When Harvey learned I was about to catch an overnight flight to V Country with Leonardo, worry crept into his voice.
"Veronica, maybe I should come along?"
"That's not necessary! I'll be home the moment everything's wrapped up. Just keep an eye on the kids for me!"
Leonardo and I connected in the evening.
He'd secured a private helicopter, and we took off for V Country's Kira City under cover of darkness.
We touched down late at night. Given the late hour, Leonardo brought me to our hotel so I could get some rest first.
"You only reserved one suite?" I questioned.
