Leonardo's POV
I had to find out where my father was.
I needed to bring him home.
"As for everything else, quit asking. It's better for you and better for The Nelson Family," Dash kept refusing to spill more details.
"But I need to know! He's my dad! I have to track him down! Spill it now, or I swear I won't let you walk out of here!"
I grabbed Dash's collar and cocked my fist back.
"I can't say it out loud..." Dash didn't flinch at my raised fist. He motioned with his hands, showing he could write instead.
I dropped my hand and shoved him back.
"Don't try anything clever!"
I shoved a pen and paper at him. Dash scribbled quickly and held up the first line:
"There's a bug planted in me. I can't talk, only write."
Now I was even more skeptical. A bug in his body? Let's see what other stories he'll spin.
I waved for him to keep going:
"Leonardo, if you're really not scared of dying, I can spill everything."
I read it and scrawled back:
