Whoever was behind this mess, once I figured it out, they definitely wouldn't get off easy!
After returning to the city from the old district, I got a call from Juliette and had Ryan drive me to Queen11.
Queen11 Mall was the world's largest luxury shopping chain, and my clothing brand, Tracy, had a boutique on the 4th floor.
Juliette had arranged to meet me here. By the time I arrived, she was already waiting with drinks.
"Veronica!"
Juliette rushed over with a huge grin, thrusting a drink into my hands. "Let's go! It's been forever since we've shopped together!"
We wandered through the mall, rehashing last night's events. Juliette couldn't stop asking for details.
"Did I really throw myself at some random guy last night? Tell me my brother's lying!"
I shook my head. "It's true. You spotted this hottie, screamed that he was your type, and announced you were going to sleep with him!"
"You were all over him, hands everywhere! No one could pry you off!"
