Leonardo's POV
The position we found ourselves in was undeniably intimate, and I had clearly overstepped boundaries.
When Tony, Aarav, Chaim, and Samuel walked in from outside, they caught us right in the middle of this compromising moment.
Shit!
Talk about terrible timing!
They'd definitely picked the worst possible moment to show up.
Tony spun around fast, motioning for Aarav and the others to get lost.
They vanished in seconds.
Veronica shoved me away, and I slumped back onto the sofa, my pulse hammering out of control.
I'd crossed another line I had no business crossing...
Veronica got to her feet, smoothing down her hair, her expression ice-cold.
I could tell she thought I'd done this deliberately.
"Enjoy yourself? Same old move every time. Don't you think that's pretty pathetic?"
"Pathetic? What's that supposed to mean? Same old move?"
I straightened up, the anger that had just settled down roaring back to life.
