The empty classroom felt suffocating as I remained motionless in its center, my gaze fixed on the door as if it might somehow reveal the answers I desperately needed.
My mouth still burned from his touch. My pulse hammered against my ribs in an erratic rhythm that made breathing difficult.
Ezekiel Enzo had actually kissed me.
This wasn't some playful moment or casual gesture that could be brushed off as meaningless.
This had been something else entirely.
Raw. Desperate. Like he'd been fighting against himself for ages and finally surrendered to whatever had been building between us.
And then he'd simply walked away.
As if my entire universe hadn't just been turned inside out.
I touched my lips gently, my mind spinning in chaotic circles that left me dizzy.
Had he immediately regretted what happened?
Was this just leftover energy from the pep rally excitement?
Or did this kiss actually signify something deeper?
