Christian completely lost it, screaming at the top of his lungs. "Dad! Dad! They're here! They found us..."
I saw Joe shoot him a look of pure disgust. It was clear from his expression what he thought of his family - a weak father, a pathetic brother. What a mess.
Bianca's voice shook with terror. "This is it. We're finished."
Rodney let out a heavy sigh. One stupid mistake, and decades of the Ellis family's work crumbled to dust. All because of Burton's recklessness.
"Joe, go let Mr. Bailey and Miss Hale in," Rodney told his remaining son after a long pause.
Joe nodded and headed for the door.
Moments later, Harold and I walked into the room, our security team filing in behind us. The men in black immediately surrounded the Ellis. If this family hadn't been so cooperative, they'd probably be face-down on the floor by now.
