Phoebe's POV
I glanced down at my phone immediately. After a brief moment, I calmly tucked it away, sliding my hands into my pockets before resting my head against Harold's arm.
"Harold," I said softly, my voice deliberately gentle, "we're not getting anywhere with Sergio right now. I'm starving. Let's head back."
Harold gave a quick nod. "Sure."
We meant it when we said we were leaving. Alistair and Johnson followed as we walked out.
The four of us departed without a second thought, no hesitation whatsoever, leaving Caiden completely baffled as he watched from his hiding spot.

Caiden couldn't wrap his head around what just happened.
Hadn't they come to the station specifically to monitor Sergio?
How could they just walk away when Sergio hadn't spilled anything yet?
Were they seriously abandoning Sergio here? Weren't they worried someone might eliminate him quietly?
Confused and frustrated, Caiden rushed back to his office to phone in a report.
