This meant that, from this day forward, this guy was officially part of the Lorenzo family.
My uncles despised the reality, but they had no other option.
I watched as Harold studied both men's faces, instantly reading their displeasure.
He pulled out his phone and dialed twice.
"Dale, Julian, we've got some additional good news to share," Harold announced with obvious cheer.
My uncles eyed him with suspicion. His grin now triggered their automatic wariness.
"What good news?" they asked.
Harold glanced my way. "Sweetheart, want to tell them, or should I handle it?"
I'd already bounced back from my earlier mood.
When he asked, I replied, "Go for it."
My uncles despised seeing me mixed up in dangerous situations like combat, so staying silent seemed wisest.
Harold gave a quick nod before facing Dale and Julian, quickly explaining the official matters we'd dealt with earlier.
