Chapter 132 - Chapter 131: The God of Hammer Becomes the God of Thunder

Thor's eyes immediately lit up at the words of Tony Stark and Black Widow.

"Dark Elves!" Thor exclaimed excitedly, looking at everyone. "If that's the case, the most likely culprits are the Dark Elves. They live in the dark world of Svartalfheim, which is one of the Nine Realms!"

"And our activities in Asgard are basically confined to the Nine Realms. If anyone has the best chance to arrange for people to infiltrate Asgard, it would be them!"

"Thor, in mythology, the place where Surtur lives is also one of the Nine Realms, isn't it?" Hawkeye glanced at Thor, his eyes gleaming.

"Yes, Muspelheim is indeed one of the Nine Realms, but it's inhabited by beasts and savages! Apart from Surtur, most of them have low intelligence and are dominated by primal combat instincts."

"So I don't think they could accomplish something like infiltrating Asgard."

"So, based on Stark's second theory, the most likely option is A, the Dark Elves," Captain America summarized.

"That's right. If the enemy breaches Asgard from within, the most likely option is the Dark Elves. If the enemy assaults Asgard head-on, the most likely option is Thanos!"

"Thor, it's up to you to choose."

Tony Stark also nodded, speaking to Thor.

"I still don't believe anyone can invade Asgard head-on and cripple it!" Thor answered without hesitation. "I choose A, the Dark Elves!"

"Answer correct!"

"Congratulations to contestant Thor Odinson for receiving the reward of one bottle of Super God Water."

"Reward has been issued, please check!"

With the system's announcement, a seemingly ordinary, unremarkable small bottle immediately appeared in Thor's hand.

But Thor's face instantly showed an expression of extreme excitement.

Because information about the Super God Water had suddenly appeared in his mind.

"Hahaha, is this the Super God Water? This is simply tailor-made for me!" Thor laughed with immense exhilaration.

"Thor,"

"Seeing how happy you are, what exactly does the Super God Water do?" Black Widow couldn't help but ask curiously.

"Super God Water, once drunk, can unleash all the potential within a person!" Thor enthusiastically told Black Widow.

"Doesn't that have a crucial prerequisite, which is that the person who drinks the Super God Water must already possess immense potential?"

"For an ordinary person like me, drinking Super God Water should be no different from drinking regular water, right?"

Tony Stark keenly grasped the key point in Thor's words and asked, looking at Thor.

"No, Stark, you're wrong." Thor shook his head. "Super God Water is highly poisonous. The person who drinks it must first withstand its potent poison to unleash their potential! So..."

At this point, Thor patted Tony Stark's shoulder, "It's still different from drinking water. At least you won't die from drinking water."

"So, this thing, besides Thor and Dr. Banner, is something the rest of us simply can't handle."

Hawkeye Barton grumbled slightly, "Perhaps Captain could also be included."

"Thank you, Barton, but I don't think I can drink it either," Captain America shook his head.

He merely possessed physical attributes that surpassed ordinary people.

Greater strength, faster speed, super endurance, and more agile reflexes, that was all.

But poison resistance?

Sorry, Captain America really couldn't do that.

"Everyone, my divine power is about to be restored! This is the best news I've received since I came to Earth."

Thor laughed like a child, so happy.

Then, without further ado, he opened his mouth and gulped down the Super God Water.

The Super God Water immediately surged through Thor's limbs and bones, and the immense medicinal power instantly acted on every cell in Thor's body... A soul-piercing pain instantly enveloped Thor.

"Ah!"

Thor's body trembled, and he immediately fell to the ground in agony, his entire body unconsciously spasming and twitching, as if he were about to die at any moment.

"Thor!"

"Thor!"

Everyone present was startled and rushed over, frantically checking on Thor's condition.

This was the poison Thor mentioned about the Super God Water?

It was too potent, wasn't it?

Would Thor really be poisoned to death like this?

Fortunately, after struggling in pain on the ground for a while, Thor finally slowly calmed down.

He gasped for breath: "I have to say, that feeling was truly awful!"

"Thor, how are you now?" Captain America went over and helped Thor up, looking at him with a serious expression.

"Now? Now I feel absolutely fantastic!" Thor couldn't help but laugh.

Not only had he recovered his divine power, but he was also even more powerful than before!

The Super God Water had truly unleashed his full potential.

"Crackling!"

As Thor spoke, with a thought, streaks of electricity began to crackle and flash around his body, and even his eyes glowed with lightning!

Then Thor casually pointed his hand forward.

Crack!

A bolt of lightning instantly struck out.

Crackling!

Thor continued to experiment a few more times, his will controlling the lightning with ease, striking wherever he aimed.

"I can control lightning without my hammer now!" Thor's face was filled with excitement. "Now, I am the true God of Thunder!"

"Well said. Compared to you now, you used to be more like a God of Hammers!" Tony Stark observed Thor, who was now crackling with electricity, and nodded earnestly.

"Congratulations, Thor, you have fully recovered your divine power now," Black Widow said with a smile, looking at Thor approvingly.

"Thank you!" Thor kept smiling, then turned his gaze to Captain America. "Rogers, give me my hammer now, I'm sure I can lift it!"

Captain America said nothing more, and handed the hammer, which he was effortlessly holding, to Thor.

However... clang!

The hammer landed directly in front of Thor, pulling him off balance and almost making him fall to the ground.

"What?" Thor was somewhat bewildered and couldn't understand. "I've already regained my divine power, so why can't I lift the hammer? What exactly is the worthiness my father spoke of?"

"Thor, since Captain can lift the hammer, why don't you think hard about what Captain possesses that you don't?"

Tony Stark glanced at the two and asked.

"Something Rogers possesses that I don't?" Thor looked at his hands, falling into deep thought.

"Whatever it is, it's definitely not strength! Thor, your strength now far surpasses the Captain's, yet you still can't lift the hammer!" Black Widow said with certainty. "Could it be some kind of quality?"

Everyone present largely agreed with Black Widow's words.

After all, Captain America's most shining quality was his almost exemplary moral character.

Compared to that, the super soldier strength he possessed was secondary.

"Qualities?" Thor fell into contemplation once again.

However, this was not something that could be understood by simply standing there and daydreaming.

"At least compared to when you lost both your divine power and couldn't lift your hammer, you've now regained your divine power!" Hawkeye Barton said earnestly to Thor. "If it were me, I'd consider that absolutely great news!"

"You're right! Barton, this is indeed good news." Thor was comforted. He smiled, "And it's not just that I've regained my divine power; my divine power is even stronger than before!"

"Questioning ends, now playing the answer analysis!"

The answer analysis began, and the corresponding video appeared on the large screen in front of everyone.

First to appear was the Bifrost of Asgard.

Inside the Bifrost's "observatory," stood a person in golden armor, looking very majestic and imposing, clearly not a simple character.

"Thor, is that Heimdall?" Captain America couldn't help but ask.

"Yes, that's Heimdall!" Thor nodded, giving a very definite answer.

Everyone present then understood.

Heimdall stood in the great hall, his eyes flickering, as if he had sensed something.

Then, Heimdall suddenly turned and ran quickly outside, all the way to the Bifrost, continuing to run along the suspension cables.

He ran to a high point, then leaped up into the void, pulling out a dagger and stabbing fiercely.

"What's going on? What is Heimdall chasing?" Thor watched, utterly bewildered.

Because the surroundings were empty; there was no abnormality whatsoever.

Hum!

But who would have thought that with Heimdall's stab, a mass of energy began to surge in the void, and a spaceship materialized!

It turned out that the spaceship had been in a cloaked state all along!

"What! How could this be!"

Thor was utterly astonished; such a thing seemed unimaginable and incredible to him.

There was actually a spaceship that could evade Heimdall's eyes and fly into Asgard!

Earlier, Thor had confidently asserted that any fleet approaching Asgard would be discovered by Heimdall immediately, but now, Thor had been proven wrong.

There was actually a fleet that had accomplished this seemingly impossible feat.

Although only one spaceship was shown on screen, no one present believed there was only one.

Because a single spaceship invading Asgard would be like a moth flying into a flame, completely ineffective.

Since the Dark Elves had a way to bypass Heimdall's observation, it was impossible for them to send only one spaceship.

Indeed, things unfolded as everyone expected.

Heimdall "hung" onto that spaceship, operating like a tiger, destroying the spaceship with just two daggers, a truly brave feat.

Boom!

That spaceship spun and crashed onto the Bifrost, exploding into a pile of rubble.

But before Heimdall could even catch his breath, he turned around and discovered a massive mothership hovering behind him!

Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh!

Not only that, one spaceship after another began to fly towards the city of Asgard.

The frontal invasion of Asgard had begun!

"I didn't expect the Dark Elves to invade head-on," Captain America said with some surprise.

After Thor answered correctly, everyone still thought the Dark Elves would use assassination methods by infiltrating spies, as Tony Stark had suggested.

But who would have thought that the truth was different from what everyone imagined? The Dark Elves were actually engaging in a direct confrontation.

Tat-tat-tat!

Tat-tat-tat!

The "city defense cannons" on the walls of Asgard began to mercilessly spew fire at the Dark Elves' fleet, and Asgardian spaceships also launched to intercept the Dark Elves' fleet.

Thus, a fierce and intense battle unfolded between the two sides.

At this point, the camera switched to the Bifrost's "observatory," where Heimdall took out a sword and inserted it into a device.

The surroundings immediately began to flash with rings of light.

At the same time, within the Asgardian royal city, a spherical golden energy shield was also continuously forming.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Some Dark Elf spaceships attempted to break into the royal city, but they crashed into the energy shield and instantly exploded.

The energy shield was quite sturdy.

"This is the protective barrier of Asgard's royal city that I told you about. Now this barrier is about to close, and the Dark Elves' fleet cannot break through it."

Thor confidently explained to everyone present.

"However... they did break in," Captain America said in a deep voice.

Thor didn't say much, but stared intently at the big screen. He really wanted to know how the Dark Elves had managed to breach the royal city's protective barrier.

Because judging by the fleet they had displayed so far, they did not possess such strength.

At this moment, the camera switched, changing the scene to inside the royal city.

As the camera moved, bodies were seen lying haphazardly everywhere—the bodies of Asgardian warriors.

A tall, armored soldier wearing a horned mask resembling a bull's head stepped over the littered corpses and entered a large hall.

That was none other than the Dark Elf's Cursed Warrior.

Before the Cursed Warrior, on a high platform, was a rapidly rotating device shimmering with golden light.

The device also had a golden spherical energy body, which, when viewed, was identical to the large energy barrier outside the royal city.

Everyone present was not foolish; they immediately understood that this device must be the activation device for the royal city's energy barrier.

The Dark Elves had not forcibly broken through the energy barrier, but had destroyed it from within.

It seemed the Dark Elves had not only adopted one of the two methods—frontal assault or infiltrating spies—but had simultaneously employed both!
