Chapter 184 - Chapter 184: Creating a New Generation of Vision

The first thing everyone did next was, without a doubt, to share the information about the new round of answering questions with Thor.

Thor was a bit stunned after hearing it all.

"Loki also participated in the Q&A?" he asked, looking at everyone present with great surprise.

In this regard, Thor was as surprised as everyone else, clearly not expecting Loki to also be involved in the Q&A.

But then, a look of joy appeared on Thor's face.

Since Loki also participated in the Q&A, it meant that he had never misjudged Loki all this time, after all, up until now, the Q&A system had truly not brought in any bad people.

This was very telling.

"I knew it, I knew we had misunderstood Loki! I knew Loki's true nature was good!"

And when Thor heard everyone talk about Loki's performance in the Q&A system's video, he clapped his thigh with satisfaction.

Loki was still a good kid!

Nothing could make him happier than this news.

However, Thor quickly stopped smiling, because the subsequent news was more explosive than the last.

Traveling through time to snatch the Tesseract, the Aether being indestructible, Loki being killed by Thanos, and the Cosmic Cube actually containing an Infinity Stone, and so on.

It took Thor a while to digest it all.

"Let's talk about Loki first, what should we do with him?"

After the information sharing was complete, Nick Fury scanned everyone with his one eye, finally resting it on Thor as he asked.

"I'm very sorry for the trouble Loki has caused everyone, but I need to take Loki back to Asgard and hand him over to my father for judgment."

"I can assure you that Loki will pay for everything he has done and will receive the appropriate punishment."

Thor immediately spoke, addressing everyone.

"Thor, I hope you keep a close eye on Loki from now on," Captain America said gravely to Thor, without raising any objections.

"That's right, Thor,"

"Fortunately, we were well-prepared this time and didn't let Loki cause any major trouble, otherwise it would have been a problem for all of us," Nick Fury also said to Thor with a serious expression.

No one present raised any objections to Thor taking Loki back to Asgard.

Loki was, after all, a god, and Thor's brother, and he was captured as soon as he arrived on Earth, before he could cause any trouble.

Naturally, he had to be handed over to Thor to take back.

There was nothing more to say about that.

What truly needed serious discussion was the disposition of two other crucial items: the Mind Stone scepter and the Tesseract.

"Everyone..."

When it came to this matter, Thor was the first to speak to everyone, "This time I came to Earth, besides taking Loki, I also need to take the Tesseract back."

"The Tesseract originally belonged to Asgard; my father placed it on Earth many years ago. For years, the Tesseract remained undisturbed, but now, it's clear that Thanos has set his sights on it."

"So I need to take the Tesseract back. Earth doesn't have the power to protect it, and leaving it on Earth will only bring disaster to Earth."

"Because in the eyes of many interstellar powers, Earth using the power of the Tesseract is seen as preparing for interstellar warfare!"

"Furthermore, we also need to use the Tesseract to repair the damaged Bifrost, otherwise our Asgardian army will be unable to maintain order in the Nine Realms, and the Nine Realms will fall into endless war and chaos."

Besides the Cosmic Cube, the ownership of Loki's scepter was also brought up.

Everyone present fell into an extremely intense discussion.

The outcome of the discussion was consistent with the original development: the Tesseract would be taken back to Asgard by Thor, while the scepter would remain on Earth.

Although Nick Fury didn't want to let go of either item, there was nothing he could do.

Considering all aspects, it was indeed more appropriate to hand the Tesseract over to Thor.

However, at least securing the scepter was not without gain.

Following the "gem allocation" issue, the next very important issue was the prevention of the "global zombie crisis."

Given the extremely limited clues available, everyone could not think of any better method than a broad-based prevention strategy.

The only comforting aspect was that Nick Fury had just received the Sky Eye System as a reward, which greatly aided in monitoring relevant biochemical research institutions worldwide.

"Stark, I need your help."

Immediately after, Nick Fury said to Tony Stark with a serious expression.

Even with his Sky Eye System, he didn't have enough manpower to monitor all the biochemical research institutions worldwide.

Considering the current infiltration of Hydra, the 'Egg' (referring to Nick Fury) truly didn't have many people he could trust.

Plus, he had a whole host of other things to deal with.

Whether it was dealing with Hydra, secretly training and equipping a special operations team to respond to alien threats, the production and development of corresponding weapons, and so on and so forth.

The 'Egg' was truly stretched thin and overwhelmed.

"No problem, I can develop a Jarvis 2.0 for you, specifically to interface with your Sky Eye System, which can monitor global biochemical institutions 24/7."

Tony Stark was unhesitating in this matter, agreeing almost without thinking.

Jarvis 2.0 combined with the Sky Eye System, it could be said to be seamless now; any slight disturbance at all similar biochemical institutions worldwide would likely be under Nick Fury's control.

This level of control was quite impressive.

After the global biochemical crisis, the third matter of concern to everyone was: how to combat Hydra.

This was originally an intractable and headache-inducing problem for Nick Fury, Captain America, and others, but now, things had taken a turn.

Because Hydra had completely enraged Tony Stark, leading him to join the fight against Hydra with real force.

"Nick Fury, you should have quite a few videos of Pierce by now, right?" Tony Stark said, looking at Nick Fury with great certainty, "Later, send all those videos to me."

This was natural; Nick Fury had been monitoring Pierce for quite some time using surveillance drones.

"With those videos, the T-1000 can analyze Pierce's behavior patterns and accurately mimic him. When the time is right, we'll replace Pierce!"

This matter was also happily settled.

Replacing Hydra's supreme leader with their own person was a significant step, playing an extremely important role in dismantling Hydra.

Leaving aside other things, once the T-1000 took over, would Hydra still have any secrets from Nick Fury and his team?

Next were the other matters.

Such as Helen Cho, who printed Vision using the Regeneration Cradle, Baron Strucker, the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver siblings, and the abandoned building that connected to the Dark World during the Convergence of the Nine Realms... and so on.

After everything was settled, an afternoon had already passed.

The Answerer Alliance had dinner together, and then, naturally, everyone went their separate ways.

Loki and the Tesseract were taken back to Asgard by Thor, while Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and others temporarily remained at the base to discuss further details of dealing with Hydra with Nick Fury.

Tony Stark, on the other hand, returned to Stark Tower first.

"Sir, welcome back!"

Jarvis was always so thoughtful and enthusiastic; as soon as Tony Stark entered the room, he immediately greeted him eagerly.

"Jarvis, create a digital model based on this blueprint."

Tony Stark wasted no words, immediately took out the USB drive he had received from the system, connected it to the network, and instructed Jarvis.

Jarvis immediately scanned the blueprint, and soon, digital projections of component after component were displayed before Tony Stark.

Finally, they assembled into a complete suit of armor.

"Sir, this is a blueprint for a brand new suit of armor. You've made significant progress again," Jarvis said with a hint of surprise from the side.

"Jarvis, start arranging production," Tony Stark commanded Jarvis without even looking up, while studying the digital projections.

By now, Tony Stark completely trusted the Q&A system, so he skipped all the steps like verifying blueprints and producing prototypes, going straight to production.

He could take his time thoroughly understanding the blueprints.

The Mark 42 was also a Mark series armor, and Tony Stark already had its main design concepts clear in his mind. Some innovative modules were not difficult for Tony Stark, and he quickly grasped all the knowledge on the blueprints.

"A tiny adjustment, yet it can achieve unexpected results. A very ingenious idea," Tony Stark couldn't help but nod repeatedly, utterly pleased with himself.

Such a feat, achieving a great effect with minimal effort, was something only he could accomplish.

"Jarvis, look up this person."

After closing the digital projection of the Mark 42, Tony Stark then took out the portrait of Helen Cho that Black Widow had drawn.

Compared to the Mark 42, Tony Stark was actually more interested in the Regeneration Cradle technology at the moment.

The reason was simple: the Regeneration Cradle technology was key to printing Vision!

For Tony Stark, he now had Vibranium, the scepter, and the system was no longer an issue; he could even use Jarvis directly.

The birth of Vision was just one Regeneration Cradle away.

—That's right, even after seeing the footage and knowing that he would create a terrifying and dangerous madman like Ultron in the future, Tony Stark still harbored similar thoughts.

This was Tony Stark's nature.

In the original work, Ultron caused immense chaos, beating the Avengers like dogs, but given the chance, Tony Stark still unhesitatingly talked Dr. Banner into continuing to create another "perfect version" of Ultron.

Which was Vision.

So now, with just a video, something that hadn't even happened yet, how could it change Tony Stark's mind?

In fact, for Tony Stark, this made his idea of creating Vision even more firm, because he already had two living examples to refer to!

What was there to hesitate about?

"Found her. Helen Cho, she's a Korean-American scientist, an expert in biological genetic research. Sir, when did you become interested in life sciences?"

Jarvis quickly used the information Tony Stark provided to track down Helen Cho.

"A few hours ago," Tony Stark replied casually, then began to browse Helen Cho's profile.

"The Regeneration Cradle, that's it!"

Soon, Tony Stark's eyes lit up; he had found the crucial item for printing Vision.

The Regeneration Cradle.

"Jarvis, give me all the information on the Regeneration Cradle. Initiate maximum retrieval authority!" Tony Stark immediately gave Jarvis this command.

Jarvis naturally carried it out without question.

In the time that followed, Tony Stark was incredibly busy. There was no need to mention producing the Mark armor, as it was a mature blueprint and required no further effort from him.

But studying the Regeneration Cradle, organic biology, and other knowledge was enough to keep Tony Stark occupied.

Not to mention Jarvis 2.0 for Nick Fury, and the research and replication of the energy blaster. Tony Stark had originally wanted to find time to research the scepter as well, but he was simply too overwhelmed and couldn't spare the time.

He could only postpone it slightly.

It wasn't just Tony Stark; the situation was pretty much the same for all members of the "Answerer Alliance."

The video of Alexander Pierce had already been sent to Tony Stark, and the T-1000 was already prepared, ready to "transform" at any moment, just waiting for Nick Fury's signal.

So Nick Fury, Captain America, and the others had been using the Sky Eye System to monitor Pierce almost daily these past few days, collecting necessary intelligence and formulating plans.

Until seven days later, a sharp glint flashed in Nick Fury's single eye: "Captain, everything is ready. Let's take down that son of a bitch!"

..."Hail Hydra!"

"Hail Hydra!"

Afternoon.

Outside the Triskelion building.

After Pierce and a few high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. officials whispered the Hydra salute into each other's ears, they exchanged knowing glances, waved their hands, and went their separate ways.

"Sir!"

A special forces member on the side had already opened the car door and called out to Pierce.

Pierce said nothing, waved to the other high-ranking officials, and got into the car with a slight smile.

Slam!

The car door closed, and the car slowly started.

Behind it, three black commercial vans followed closely, all filled with special agents specifically assigned to protect Pierce.

Pierce sat in the back seat, watching the street scenery constantly receding outside the window, lost in thought.

About half an hour later, the driver's voice rang out: "Sir, we've arrived."

Pierce nodded, got out of the car directly, and walked into the gate of a detached villa without looking back.

The other special agents, as usual, dispersed around the area.

At the slightest sign of trouble, they would rush out to provide armed support.
