"Alright," Tuesday said brightly, clapping her hands together, her smile just a little too pleased. The kind of smile that told everyone in the room—and watching from home—that she was enjoying this far too much. "Now that that's out of the way… we move on."
A beat.
Collective dread.
"What?!" one trainee shouted. "There's more?!"
"They're really going all out today," another muttered, half laughing, half terrified.
"I mean, how the hell do you even top that last announcement?" someone else cried, hands gripping the edge of their seat.
Luca stepped forward, dragging the moment out like a seasoned menace.
"For the second half of the announcement," he said slowly, eyes glinting, "and probably the most important part…"
He stopped.
Dead silence.
Even the internet was hanging on by a thread.
@Yoyo: PLEASE PUT US OUT OF OUR MISERY 😭
@Rumi: This ain't good for my heart, have MERCY 😣
Then Foca spoke.
Calm. Gentle. Dangerous.
"I would highly advise all trainees," he said softly, "to perform in the fifth evaluation as if your lives depended on it."
A chill swept through the colosseum.
"Because for some of you," he continued, voice steady, "it will be your last."
The words landed like a guillotine.
A wave of unease rolled through the trainees. Hands found hands. Someone swallowed hard. Someone else's leg started bouncing uncontrollably.
"What… what does that mean?" one trainee whispered, clutching his teammate's sleeve like a lifeline.
Foca nodded, as if he'd been waiting for that exact question.
"It means exactly what it sounds like," he said. Then—he smiled. "For some of you, the fifth evaluation will be your final one… because you will achieve your dream."
Another pause.
"…You will debut."
For a split second, the world stopped.
No chatter.
No gasps.
No emojis.
The livestream chat froze as if the internet itself needed a moment to process.
Then—
All hell broke loose.
The trainees jumped out of their seats, shouting, laughing, some straight-up screaming. A few dropped to the floor. One trainee stared into the void like his soul had temporarily left his body.
"Wait," Nikola blurted out, eyes wide, "am I hallucinating right now? Because holy fuck—"
Leo elbowed him hard, hissing under his breath and pointing frantically at the cameras.
Nikola clapped a hand over his mouth.
Too late.
The internet was already on the floor laughing.
@MikkoTan: Ah yes. Live television. LMAOOOO
@overcaffeinated: SAME, Nikola. SAME.
@FFonBio: This changes EVERYTHING and I feel it in my 🐱
@Corn⭐: Calm your tits, @FFonBio 😭
Once the initial chaos simmered down—if only slightly—Foca raised his hand again.
"Yes," he said patiently, amusement flickering in his eyes. "You heard correctly. For the fifth evaluation, some of you will officially join Ahn Jae, August, and Silas in the debut group."
A few trainees visibly teared up. Others covered their mouths. One trainee whispered a shaky prayer under his breath.
"But," Foca continued, his tone softening, "for those who are not chosen—do not lose heart."
He looked around the room, making sure every trainee felt seen.
"LEAVEN will continue. The program will enter its latter half. If you are not selected, your journey does not end here."
Relief mingled with determination.
Then Luca leaned into the mic.
"And for those who remain," he said, smiling dangerously, "don't get too comfortable."
Every head snapped toward him.
"Because," Luca continued, "a small number of new trainees will be joining."
The room erupted again.
"What?!"
"No way—"
"Fresh blood?!"
Tuesday stepped forward, eyes sparkling as she faced the camera directly.
"That's right!" she said cheerfully. "So to all aspiring artists out there who dream of being in a pop group—this is your chance."
The chat started screaming in all caps.
"As of right now," Tuesday continued, "auditions are officially open. But only for one week."
She held up one finger.
"One. Week. So move fast, because opportunity doesn't wait around."
@Hyouka_Icecream: OH MY GOD
@CaliforniaMaki: THIS IS INSANE
@Rumi: THE TRAINEES ARE FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES AND NOW THIS 😭
"And with that," Foca said gently, stepping forward one last time, "our announcements have concluded. Thank you sincerely for tuning in to LEAVEN. Your love and support mean everything to us."
He bowed slightly.
Tuesday and Luca followed.
Then the three of them exited the stage.
Leaving behind—
Stunned trainees.
A feral internet.
And the unmistakable feeling that nothing would ever be the same again.

Thankfully—for those who missed the livestream, were stuck at work, asleep, in class, or simply passed out from emotional overload—a very kind and extremely competent netizen came through with a detailed rundown of what exactly went down.
Enter: a hero.
@JamOnToast:
Hey everybody! 👋
For anyone who couldn't tune in to the livestream—or for those who did watch but need a recap because your brain short-circuited (very valid 😉)—you're in the right place.
I'll be breaking down everything that was announced during today's live, as clearly and simply as possible, to the best of my abilities.
So without further ado, let's get into it.
📌 FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT: CHANGE IN EVALUATION SCHEDULE
The third month of LEAVEN will now only have ONE evaluation instead of the originally planned two (mid-month and end-of-month).
Month two was an exception because of the scandal-that-shall-not-be-named, but moving forward, month three is officially streamlined.
Which brings us to…
📌 SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT: ORIGINALS (YES. ORIGINALS.)
This is the reason for the single evaluation.
The trainees will be taking on their most challenging endeavor yet:
🎵 Original songs.
Here's the structure:
One full month of preparation
Performances can be solo or team-based
Whether you're solo or in a group has already been decided by Foca, Luca, and Tuesday
If you're in a team, your groupmates are also pre-selected
Now here's the important part—because some of y'all panicked for no reason:
The trainees are NOT starting from scratch
Original songs have already been written and composed specifically for LEAVEN
These songs will act as a base
Some parts are intentionally left open for creative freedom
Like tradition, trainees are given full creative control over:
Arrangement
Choreography
Concept
Part distribution
Yes, that includes rearranging the songs if they want.
📌 THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT: LIVE AUDIENCE 👀
Yes.
A live audience will be present for the fifth evaluation.
Here's how that works:
500 lucky fans will be chosen
All-expenses-paid trip to the island
3 days and 2 nights
You can apply via Bread Music's website
(And for the lazy people, here's the link: [BreadMusic Audience Form Link])
IMPORTANT NOTE (read this twice if needed):
The audience is there PURELY for support
They have ZERO power over evaluations
Decisions are still made solely by our three bosses
Capish? Capish. 😌
📌 FOURTH ANNOUNCEMENT: DEBUT CONFIRMATION (YES, THIS ONE)
On the day of the fifth evaluation,
some trainees will officially debut.
They will be chosen to join:
Ahn Jae
August
Silas
Yes, this means:
Contracts
Debut lineup
Dreams coming true
How many trainees?
👉 Still unknown. The suspense remains deadly.
📌 FIFTH ANNOUNCEMENT: "BUT WAIT—THERE'S MORE"
Remember when Cat said the program would last six months?
"But wait," you ask, "If trainees debut at month three… then what?"
Here's the answer:
Trainees not selected at the fifth evaluation will remain on the program
LEAVEN will officially enter its latter half
OG trainees are still in the running
They can continue training and competing if they choose
The catch?
👀 New trainees will be joining.
Yes—fresh blood.
These selected newcomers will compete alongside the remaining OG trainees for the remaining three months, all vying for spots in the debut group.
Now, some people are calling this unfair.
Personally? I don't see it that way.
The OG trainees already have:
More experience
More exposure
A massive head start
If anything, they have the advantage.
But hey—that's just my take.
📌 AUDITIONS ARE OPEN
If you're an aspiring artist and want to give LEAVEN a shot:
👉 [Audition Form Link]
Auditions are open for ONE WEEK ONLY.
No procrastinating. Opportunity doesn't wait.
And that's everything that was announced.
I hope this breakdown helped clear things up. If you still have questions, feel free to ask in the replies. I'll answer what I can—honestly and responsibly.
Thank you for reading.
This has been your favorite toastie stan, signing off. - 🍞
