Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Shiro Vladimir

Primo, a golden spooned man, had died in a tragic death after being stabbed to death by his employees.

No one even mourned his death, aside from his father, of course. Because he was known as the most arrogant, prideful, demonic-like creature in his father's company.

But aside from being a scum-bag, he has the habit of reading books, especially the reincarnated themed, in which the main character has to change the past owner's wrongdoings.

But from all the thousands of books, one stood amongst the rest for him, the "Palace of Laridel."

The story follows Kairo, who was once a shitty prince who spent most of his life with girls, but it changed when someone from the modern world took over his body and defeated the demon lord with his harem.

But Primo wasn't interested in all that, he's more interested in the king who made the whole country suffer, but of course, Mc had a plot armor and won the fight, who could've known.

He hated the ending, which made him wonder if there was an alternate world where the king actually won it.

___

"W-where am I?!" He shouted as his eyes drifted across the room, which painfully looked medieval.

It was grand and luxurious. Every inch of the room is covered by gold, gems, you name it, it was as if he's in a dream, a dream where he's super rich.

"S-sir Shiro is awake!!" The maid beside him shouted in a surprised voice.

"Who are you?! And where am I!" He asked the maid, but he only got a cold glare from her. She gripped something from her pocket, and before Primo could even realize it, the maid had lunged at him.

"Die, you worthless thing!" The maid shouted before attempting to stab Primo's neck.

Because Primo had died from being stabbed, he now knew how to escape. With his experience, he stopped the dagger with his hand and twirled aside to successfully steal the weapon.

He gritted his teeth and gripped the daggers tight, ensuring that they wouldn't fall no matter what. "Come at me," he taunted the maid.

He looked around to see if there was a possible escape route, but his eyes caught something: his reflection.

He stared at it in disbelief, "SHIRO VLADIMIR?!"

Shiro is an extra in the "Palace of Laridel," and what's worse is that he's absolute crap! He has a weak body that one cough will take his life away, and his lungs are broken, making him unable to use magic.

Shiro is the most hated in the story, and the starting point of the story is his death; Lucas, the main character, will take over the crown.

"F*ck it," he mumbled and ran to the closed window and barged it open, making him fall to a great height of 3 stories.

"Webnovel god, couldn't you have given me a good body and a good story?!" He shouted in his mind as he was falling.

But before he could even hit the ground, something had saved him, a green-black stripe snake...with 3 heads.

"Wait, how could I forget Shiro was a beast tamer?"

Shiro survived this far because he possessed a rare, 3 headed serpent that he used to scare the people that he's bullying; it also serves as his protection against people who are assassinating him.

"How many times do we have to tell you, please be on good terms with people?" A low voice manifested in his brain.

"Yeah, yeah, go, or else we'll get caught," Primo ordered the serpent whilst riding on the back.

It immediately slithered away from the place to a cave in a mountain, their secret hiding spot.

"This should be far enough." The middle head spoke once again in his head.

"Wow, master, you're brave for jumping from that height!" The left head praised him, beaming with positive energy.

But just as he was still taking a sigh of relief, footsteps echoed outside. He knew that those bastards had caught up to them.

"How did these rats know our place?" Primo produced a cold sweat, because the cause of the death of Shiro is being guillotined, although painless, it's still scary.

"On March 23, 630, you brought the maid of yours here and tried to do something to her, but thankf- No, I mean unfortunately she escaped." The right head with a visible scar on his face spoke in his mind.

"Oh, right now I get why the maid is desperately trying to kill Shiro..I would too, to be honest." Primo thought to himself.

In the midst of their talk, a voice outside had interrupted them, making Primo and the serpent look in the direction of the voice.

"Die, you bastard!" The maid shouted, now holding what looks to be a tree branch.

"Holy light, please let me use your powers, for shall I eradicate..." The maid immediately cast an unknown spell.

"Poison cloud!" Primo barked. Immediately, the serpents released a purple, colored mist from their mouth, and soon enough, it engulfed the place.

"Try to use magic now, b*tch!" Primo teased her while holding a piece of cloth to his nose.

As you might have already known, lungs are fundamental for one to use magic. If the user's lungs were broken, irritated, or he, they couldn't use magic at any cost.

Argh," she groaned while desperately clawing her neck; the attack succeeded.

Thud

The girl fell to the ground, and only after a few seconds, soldiers who were wearing steel armor appeared.

"M-miss, are you alright?!" One soldier spoke and raised his gaze. His body shivered uncontrollably, sweat came profusely, and his face went grim.

"G-grand mage lerion?!"

When this soldier was still a child, his father told him the tale of a legendary mage named lerion.

He was told that this particular mage had burned a whole city to ash that the place was no longer seen.

His father also said that this mage had a specific entrance, the place will get enveloped by a purple mist, and for his clothes he wore all black but had a white scarf around his neck to the nose.

This is the reason why the soldier became a soldier as per his father's request, find the grand mage.
