Chapter 8 - come back

Two days later

*The Return of IDOL'S*

The news broke like wildfire: IDOL'S, the beloved K-pop group, was returning! Han, Kai, Jace, and Adriel were coming back, and fans were going crazy. The government announcement sparked a frenzy of excitement among the public.

In response, the other IDOL'S members and Alpha Boys - Hudson, Caleb, Harrison, Lorenzo, Ace, and Adriel - decided to do a live video welcoming the returning members. They gathered in a cozy studio, cameras rolling, and smiles beaming.

"Welcome back, guys! We've missed you!" Hudson exclaimed, as the others chimed in with greetings.

The video quickly gained traction, but amidst the excitement, fans started asking questions. Where is Taejoon? Why isn't he with the Alpha Boys?

Comments flooded in:

- "Why is Taejoon not in the video? 😢"

- "Is Taejoon okay? What happened to him?"

- "Did he leave Alpha Boys? 😭"

- "We miss Taejoon so much!"

The Alpha Boys and other IDOL'S exchanged uneasy glances. They hadn't prepared for this. How were they supposed to explain Taejoon's absence?

In the shadows, Taejoon watched the video, a hint of a smile on his lips. He was aware of the speculation, but he wasn't ready to reveal himself yet. Not until he dealt with Mako and the darkness surrounding him.

The fans' questions would have to wait. For now, the focus was on welcoming back Han, Kai, Jace, and Adriel. But the mystery of Taejoon's absence lingered, fueling the fans' curiosity...

Later that day

The sun-kissed grounds of King's Entertainment Company were abuzz with excitement as Han, Jace, Kai, and Adriel stepped onto the premises, their return a moment everyone was eagerly anticipating. The air was alive with the hum of creative energy, the scent of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the corridors, mingling with the sound of laughter and chatter.

Mrs. Johnson, their manager, beamed with pride as she greeted the IDOL'S members with open arms. "Welcome back, my babies! We've missed you!" she exclaimed, her voice warm and motherly.

The four IDOL'S members smiled, their eyes shining with a mix of gratitude and excitement, as they exchanged warm hugs with Mrs. Johnson. The group's dynamics were palpable, their bond strengthened by their time apart.

As they walked towards the conference room, the staff and other artists couldn't help but stare at the IDOL'S, their posters adorning the walls a testament to their talent. Han, Jace, Kai, and Adriel signed their renewed contracts, the documents symbolizing their commitment to their craft and to each other.

Mrs. Johnson handed each of them a glass of champagne, her eyes misty with emotion. "To many more years of success, love, and making music that touches hearts," she toasted, her voice filled with conviction.

The IDOL'S clapped their glasses together, the crystal clinking in harmony, as they sipped the bubbling drink. The atmosphere was electric, filled with promise and possibility.

As they took their seats, Mrs. Johnson began to speak, her words a gentle breeze on a summer day. "You guys know how much you mean to us. Your music, your bond... it's what makes King's Entertainment shine. We're honored to have you back, and we're ready to take this journey with you."

The IDOL'S listened, their faces aglow with appreciation, as Mrs. Johnson's words washed over them, filling them with a sense of belonging. In this moment, they were home, surrounded by people who believed in them, and they knew that together, they could conquer the world.

Now that the IDOL'S have renewed their contract, it's time to get back to work! 😄

Mrs. Johnson announces that they've prepared a special comeback plan for IDOL'S, including a new album, music videos, and a series of performances. The group starts brainstorming ideas, throwing around suggestions for song titles, choreography, and themes.

But amidst the excitement, Han can't shake off the feeling that something's off. He keeps glancing around, sensing eyes on him. Could it be...? 🤔

Han's curiosity gets the better of him, and he steps outside into the evening air. As his eyes adjust to the dim light, he spots a figure standing in the shadows. His heart skips a beat as he realizes it's the same person who attacked him last time.

"Hey, I know you," Han says, his voice firm but cautious. "You're the one that attacked me last time."

The figure doesn't respond. Instead, it turns around and starts walking away, its back to Han.

Han's instincts kick in, and he calls out, "Hey! Get back here! I mean, who the hell are you?"

He takes off after the mysterious figure, his feet pounding the pavement. The figure moves swiftly, but Han's determination keeps him hot on the trail.

Han's hand closes around Taejoon's wrist, his grip firm but cautious. "Stop. Who are you?" he demands, his breathing uneven.

Taejoon pulls away, his arm slipping from Han's grasp like sand between fingers. He tries to walk away, but Han's not having it. With a burst of determination, Han grabs Taejoon's arm again, spinning him around.

As Taejoon faces him, Han's eyes strain to pierce the darkness surrounding Taejoon. But it's like trying to see through a living shadow. The dark aura clinging to Taejoon distorts his features, making it impossible for Han to make out his face.

Han's grip tightens, his confusion and frustration mounting. "What the hell? Who are you?" he repeats, his voice laced with urgency.

Taejoon didn't respond ,The air vibrates with tension as the two lock eyes, or at least, Han tries to. It's like staring into a void, with no reflection, no identity.

Han focuses his energy, trying to summon his powers to dispel the dark aura. But before he can, Taejoon's eyes flash red, and the darkness surges forward.

Han's caught off guard as the dark aura wraps around him, lifting him off the ground. "Hey, let me go!" he growls, struggling against the suffocating darkness.

The aura tightens, constricting Han's chest. He tries to break free, but it's like fighting a living shadow. His eyes flash yellow as he musters his werewolf strength, determined to break free.

With a fierce cry, Han bursts through the darkness, landing hard on one knee. One hand on his chest, he coughs up blood, his lungs burning.

Taejoon's eyes still glow red, his breathing heavy with restraint. The dark aura retreats, leaving Han gasping for air.

Han's yellow eyes glare up at Taejoon, a mix of anger and confusion etched on his face. "What...who are you?" he demands again, still trying to catch his breath.

Taejoon's face remains shrouded, his red eyes the only hint of the turmoil within. The air is thick with tension, the darkness still pulsing with energy... 😈
