Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Rampage and Hail on the Arena

Tournament Arc:

"The arc I believe some readers have been waiting for… the time of the kaiju."

In a pitch black void on the screen, Victor's voice subtly sounded as if from a cracked radio.

"The goal is simple… get every weapon of a beast on this planet… rival the home-world and its queen, and…"

"We're gonna have to do this smart… We need to divide and conquer by hiring Stephen, Farouk's brother, for the game plans."

"What? You're serious." Another voice buzzed. "Why?"

"He is our closest person for intel on this case… and the domination of Optimum."

Slowly, Victor's straight face with his defined jawline surface quickly to a stop facing the camera front view.

"With this." His mouth calmly moved.

"My home planet will get its reward.

"God, you're such a bully." A young female voice tensed.

Much later, in a wide asphalt floored area outside in the bright afternoon sunshine, Stephen, in a red long sleeve shirt and jeans, stood with chest out beside a short, 4 feet tall in minute black shirt with matching baggy trousers.

Rocking short black hair, her small mouth fumed. "Why do you have to be so annoying?"

"Because I can be." Stephen's chin went up.

"An ass one… just like the school system." She shook her head with hands folded. "You know, you used to be nice about this."

"I was quiet." Stephen harked softly, stepping to her. "And you couldn't even be grateful… You think I'm gonna sit around and watch you mock me about how 'serious' I am about being a star student and nerd without letting you understand I won't just give you a taste of your own medicine?"

The girl's eyes quivered mutely as she moved back. Much later, footsteps in the distance then-.

"Stephen, we have to go, now."

He turned back, facing Victor, who stood 3 stone throws away in his jacket.

The boy then walked away, leaving the girl alone, toward his master.

As time progressed, Inside a rectangular shaped black walled room with a huge dark red bed and some cupboards big and small, Stella and Lillian Gold, in blue night gowns sat on the soft furniture, as voices came from them.

"You know, it's funny, but I never expected you to trap Segun so well in the Minecraft Verse." Lillian smirked, eying Stella. "I always feared he would use that key component you took from him to sap out my powers.

"Mother, he's none but a small boy." Stella shook her head while it was raised, picking a blanket. "One way or another, I knew he wouldn't completely trust us, giving his backstory with Farouk.

Lillian chuckled. "Okay hun, let's have a good night's rest, alright…? We gotta arrive for the tournament tomorrow."

"Okay, mum." At this, the woman left while Stella laid down as illuminations switched off.

Later, she pulled out a wooden Aztec-type totem about 15cm tall, staring at it with a grim smile.

"Oh don't worry mother, I'll be the one in full control… Ready or not."

With that, the silence felt stiff, spelling a complete day.

"SWOOSH!"

Later on, within a wide and sparsely grassy area, in one second, a giant flash of white lights sped to a distance at Colonel's left.

It appeared to be a tall dark-skinned muscular man in yellow and black knight armor. Posing with his huge blade raised, He eyed Segun Farouk, Cindy and Hammer.

"Interesting work you four." His subtle, half Italian accent spoke. "But you're not gonna stop Colonel in his way."

"Segun glared. "The heck are you?"

"Sergeant Bee." His pose relaxed with his sword dropped. "And tonight, I'm gonna wreck you."

"Wait."

Colonel raised his hand as the rest turned to him with puzzled faces.

"I just remembered something." The man heaved coarsely, panting. "Light isn't actually here to help, Bee, there's something else wrong and it's definitely coming from her end."

Everyone just stared at him.

"I remember something, but unfortunately, she's coming right this bloody second to make sure that I arrest you or she will kill me." Colonel's eyes quivered. "I'm sorry, but there's no other way… Snow was right all along."

At this, the entire cast at the scene froze. You could feel a tense aura rise around them.

So did the stakes.

***

"THUD!"

With some time past, Victor and Stephen walked into a huge and metal room, about 3 cubicles long, the man heavily dropped a big and plastic thermos plastic box on a flat concrete surface beneath it

Victor turned to Stephen. "So what's good about the fight?"

"A lot actually." Stephen raised his finger. "So what you're telling me now is that you need kaiju's with all four elements yh… that's not hard, but it will be harder winning a lightning based one."

"Don't worry about it." Stephen waved his hand, sitting on a wooden bench. "We currently have two from our last fights… dunno what to expect from the 3rd, but it's gonna be a bit nasty, I think. "I heard rumours saying it may be the Spawn of The Chosen or not because Stella plans to take her powers away using a totem or something… it's crazy."

The boy's eyes widened. Damn.

Victor raised his head. "Yah, well, this could've been our only chance to fight her then… Also, please leave the room for the meantime, I wanna make an important call."

With that Stephen walked out of the place, before the man slid a phone from his pocket. A few beeps later, a ring, then-.

"Salutations sir."

"Oh please, what did we tell you about putting up more spirit for the tournament 3 years ago?"

"Doc, I get it." Victor pouted, his head low. "What's the status of the enemy planet?"

"It's devastating… Also, I think Princess Charis is just out for her kind, I mean, we don't need this war."

"We do." Victor harked. "You will know nothing about losing your home-world to a selfish woman."

"She is not backing down. She's got a horde of armies coming in… Also, Chigozie's in trouble and we may need him to stop Lillian, although I must say it's the other way round.

Pause.

Victor gazed into a blank space. "What do we do then?"

"Stop this war, talk things out with the princess and save Chigozie… I believe in you Victor."

"BEEP!"

The line cut as the man dropped his phone with calm but panicked eyes.

His hand covered his mouth. What is he going to do?

As for the rest of the story, what's the fate for everything?
