Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

A neon blue light radiated from the time platform, reflecting off the metallic walls as sparks flew from the old monitors, and with every flash it felt like the entire future was on the line. The air was charged with an unfamiliar energy, as if time itself was breathing slowly. Hazza Al Mansouri sat in front of the control panel, his fingers darting quickly between buttons and screens, every indicator pulsing like the very heart of the lab. Sweat beaded on his forehead, yet he did not shift his gaze for a second from the streaming data before him. "The countdown has started… even the smallest mistake could create a temporal rift that can never be repaired."Lara Al Saadi stood beside him, her piercing eyes tracking every movement and every flash. It was as if she could feel the timeline itself. "All temporal barriers are sealed… any fault could alter the course of history entirely. This is not just an experiment."Haidi Kashima raised an eyebrow as she stared at the glowing temporal maps. "There is an abnormal disturbance… something is moving before the countdown. This is not normal."Suddenly, the platform shook, and a powerful blue flash exploded throughout the lab, filling the place with a mysterious metallic echo. The sounds of the devices blended with the echo of the team's footsteps, and the air grew heavy as though it carried the very burdens of time. In the time gate, a mysterious man appeared: wavy black hair, a patch over his right eye, dressed in a black suit, a katana on his back, and two pistols at his sides. Every movement he made was deliberate, and every glance carried a deadly silence. "Where am I? And what is this era…?" he said in a low but steady voice, thick with mystery and menace.Lara smiled a sharp smile. "An unidentified target was pulled from the seventeenth century… that was not part of the plan."Hazza turned quickly. "A samurai? That is completely unexpected…"Haidi spoke calmly, her eyes gleaming with intelligence. "Be careful… any wrong move from him could trigger a temporal disruption that cannot be undone."Rin moved slowly, watching every person and every motion, katana and pistols in hand, completely ready for any threat. His movements were like music: precise, fast, lethal, in harmony with the sparks flying from the surrounding devices. The countdown continued, and red lines began to appear on the screen, revealing the arrival of fighters from different eras: ninja from the Sengoku period, an Andalusian knight, pirates of the Caribbean, and a warrior equipped with futuristic technology. Rin lunged forward, cutting through bullets with his katana and pistols, sparks flying everywhere, while Marcus leaped and flipped his opponents with a perfectly honed cyberpunk style. Haidi focused on the control panel, trying to close any secondary gates the enemies might use. "Who sent me to this future? I will find whoever is responsible for my fate," Rin said, his voice calm yet razor sharp. During the battle, sparks from the devices burst out, glass shattered, and the lab equipment flickered erratically. The blue light played with the shadows, and the air was thick with the scent of burnt metal and electricity. After temporarily repelling the attack, the team sat before the platform's screens, breathing heavily, their eyes shining with exhaustion and focus. "I am Lara Al Saadi, the leader. This is Hazza, the platform engineer, and Haidi, our temporal physicist. Marcus, field support, and Ioan, the combat guard."Rin looked at them with scrutinizing eyes. "A team? And what is your connection to what is happening here?""You were chosen to protect history. There are those who want to change it… and we will not allow them to." Hazza said confidently. "Look… the signals of the secret society have begun to move. This is not just a scientific experiment," Haidi said, pointing at the maps. Lara drew a deep breath, then explained: "Our objective is to protect major historical events: the Islamic conquests, the liberation of Jerusalem, the great scholars, the secrets of Bayt al-Hikma… so they are not erased or distorted, and so that scientific and cultural glory is preserved."Hazza added: "Protecting scholars like Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, and Al-Farabi. Facing the Mongols, the Romans, the Crusaders, and even the Hashashin. Everything is at stake.""If that is what awaits me… then the road will be far from easy," Rin said with a half-mysterious smile. Each character felt the weight of their mission. Rin remembered his past in the Yakuza and the loss of his eye and his daughter, a blend of guilt and regret fusing with his strength. Lara felt guilty over previous incidents in prodigy programs and wondered if she was truly capable of protecting the team. Haidi feared for her father, lost in a previous temporal incident, yet her scientific mind insisted on staying focused. Ioan knew that an encoded phrase buried in his mind could turn him against the team in a moment of weakness, and he fought with all his will to keep it contained. A small time gate suddenly opened, and the Black Chrono Guards appeared, elite warriors of the secret society. Rin leapt among the enemies, slicing through bullets with his katana and pistols, Marcus attacked in an advanced cyberpunk style, and Haidi manipulated the gates to stop the enemies from slipping through. The environment reacted to the battle: sparks burst out, glass shattered, the lab screens flickered chaotically, and the blue light danced with the shadows, movement unceasing, every strike, jump, and bullet described with a detail that heightened realism and excitement. After the battle, the team sat at the control platform, exhausted, sweat dripping, breaths ragged, their eyes scanning for any new threat. Suddenly, the platform's screen displayed a mysterious message. "The High Priest is watching you… every move is calculated."Rin looked into the distance, his voice calm yet carrying an undeniable power. "If this is only the beginning… there will be no easy ending."
