Luke remembered this company. In the movie Train to Busan, this company created the zombie virus, which then triggered a national crisis.
In that movie, the zombie virus took effect extremely quickly.
Once infected, the transformation was complete within seconds, and then they would attack others.
In terms of infection speed alone, it was faster than the zombie virus in *Resident Evil*.
"It looks like I need to find a chance to deal with this company and Umbrella preemptively."
Luke pondered. He certainly didn't want a biological crisis erupting in his backyard while he was fighting hard on the front lines.
"Sir? Is there something wrong with this company?"
Luna Snow keenly noticed the abnormality, and many thoughts flashed through her mind. Could this biopharmaceutical company be the final boss of South Korea?
Luna Snow immediately became excited, feeling an urge to take action.
"Where is your phone? Let me use it," Luke said.
Luna Snow immediately took out her Samsung phone.
"I suggest you change your phone... never mind, as long as you like it."
Luke originally wanted to say that this thing was prone to exploding, but then he remembered that Luna Snow was an ice ability user, who could conveniently cool down the phone battery.
After a simple search of South Korea news, he found multiple incidents of rabid patients biting people on some forums.
The most recent incident occurred in a small town in the suburbs of Busan.
Some people had even posted related videos.
But they were quickly deleted by the authorities.
Luna Snow didn't realize anything was wrong, but the smartest one, Yulenka, immediately sensed something fishy.
"Someone is deliberately controlling the spread of public opinion. This isn't a simple rabies case; the people in charge are intentionally hiding something."
Emma was quick, opening one of the videos.
The video recorder seemed to be moving intensely, and heavy breathing could be heard.
The recorder then pointed the phone camera behind them, discovering several blood-stained people rapidly running closer.
Suddenly, a rapid burst of gunfire was heard, and the people chasing them immediately fell dead on the screen. However, the "people," riddled with bullet holes and skulls visible everywhere, still tried to crawl back up.
Several soldiers in full protective gear stepped forward and shot these people dead.
"Zombies! There are zombies!"
The final scene of the video was the cameraman's gasp of surprise.
After that, the video was deleted.
"Are... are you kidding me! Zombies? They aren't shooting a movie, are they?"
Luna Snow's first thought was disbelief.
Helen Cho also frowned and shook her head, saying, "From a biological perspective, the species known as zombies should not exist."
Yoon Ji-su nodded in agreement.
However, Yulenka countered, "According to modern science, magic shouldn't exist either."
A sphere of electric particles appeared in Yulenka's palm, and the dazzling lightning continuously jumped, attracting Luna Snow's attention.
"Magic? That sounds really cool."
Hearing this, Helen Cho silently nodded. "That's true. Modern biology and science cannot explain everything in the World."
As she spoke, she looked at Luke's back.
In her eyes, Luke was the most incredible miracle.
"Luke, what should we do next?"
Helen Cho asked softly.
"The most important thing is to find a way to eliminate the zombie virus and its creator."
Luke wasn't planning on doing it himself. Playing with South Korean women didn't mean he had to do things for South Korea.
Although he didn't know how long the zombie virus had been leaked, since South Korea itself wasn't worried, he couldn't be bothered to act.
At most, he would send out some of the Shadow Legion to gather intelligence.
After thinking about it, Luke secretly summoned the Shadow Legion and sent them out. Then he took out his phone and made a call.
"Tony, there's something interesting going on here in Busan. Have Jarvis take a look. I'm not calling to mock you about your lousy expo being attacked, but this is a huge surprise. You should probably talk to Nick Fury about it. You want more Vibranium? We'll talk about that when I get back."
Hanging up the phone, Luke prepared to call Thor as well.
If it was just a simple biological crisis, the Avengers plus Thor would be more than enough.
Leaving aside whether the zombie virus could infect an Asgardian or the Hulk.
Even if their biting force was ten times that of an ordinary person, they wouldn't be able to break through the Hulk's defenses.
Did they really think everyone was Fenrir?
Luna Snow said in surprise, "Was that Mr. Tony Stark just now?"
"That's right. He is a member of the Avengers, and this is right up his alley."
Luke put away his phone. "Let's go. We'll leave the rest to the professionals."
...
Meanwhile,
inside the seaside Villa in New York,
Tony, who was focused on developing the Hulkbuster armor, put down his welding torch, removed his goggles, and asked suspiciously, "Jarvis, search and compile all information about Busan for me. I want to see what this surprise is."
Tony looked completely nonchalant. What could possibly be bigger news in Busan than his own expo being attacked?
Ten seconds later, "Sir, there is something you need to see."
"Hmm?"
Tony looked at the virtual projection, seeing a scene of a madman biting another person. The flying flesh and blood and mouthful of shredded meat made him feel uncomfortable.
"A rabies outbreak?"
Tony still didn't care, until he saw the person who was bitten turn into a new madman just a few seconds later.
He finally became serious. "What is this thing? Which lunatic researched this new variant of rabies?"
Currently, rabies is still incurable.
But as long as precautions are taken in advance, normally there are no problems.
Furthermore, the incubation period for rabies varies; some are a few months, and some can last over ten years.
But if a rabies virus with high infectivity, high fatality, and an extremely short incubation period were to appear, it would be a nightmare for humanity!
The more Tony looked, the more alarmed he became, and the more wrong things seemed.
How did this not look like a rabies virus, but rather a zombie virus appearing in a movie?
Zombies? Biohazard?
The moment he thought of the surprise Luke mentioned, a chill ran down Tony's spine.
What a huge surprise, only it was shocking without being pleasant.
"Search deep for relevant information and figure out the origin of this virus!"
"Which biochemical laboratory is conducting anti-human experiments this time? This is no longer an ordinary lab; it's a terrorist organization, an extremist group, and we must strike hard!"
Tony's expression was serious. Just as he was about to call Nick Fury, he suddenly realized something.
"Wait a minute, Luke is supposed to be traveling, right? So, is he calling me because he plans to dump this trouble on me?"
"Sir, you are an Avengers member," Jarvis reminded him.
Tony waved his hand. "I know, I know. Forget it. Although a biochemical crisis is terrifying, against a steel tide, no virus can prevail."
Just then, a deleted scene appeared, showing a muscular giant.
Tony glanced at it, instantly unable to look away, and drew a sharp breath.
"This is... Hulk? Zombie Hulk?!"
...
"Zombie Hulk? Then what am I?"
Bruce Banner arrived at the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, pointing at himself in confusion.
He carefully sensed his inner self again. "Hulk is still in my head, muttering about whether there are family members outside."
"Where is that thing? Hulk wants to see family."
