I felt somewhat depressed, feeling I was unjustly treated, even though I clearly hadn't done anything.
"Hey! Listen to me, I didn't do anything!"
"Who would believe you! If it's not you, then was it me who did it?" Emily Davis bit her bright red lips, her face filled with shame and anger.
"It really was you who did it..." I murmured.
"What did you say?" Emily widened her eyes in anger, her voice suddenly rising a few notches.
"If you don't believe it, ask them!" Saying that, I turned my head, looking at the police officers, "You were possessed by a ghost earlier, so things turned out like this."
Emily knitted her brows, seemingly recalling something, and her face instantly turned beet red with embarrassment.
"Then... then let me go! How long are you planning to hold me!" She was both ashamed and anxious, her soft body gently struggling in my embrace.
"Oh!"
Only then did I come to my senses and let go of her.
