Chapter 73 - Damn It, Scum

The KTV private room was filled with loud music.

I sat in the corner, with Heather Thomas sitting closely next to me, her soft body leaning entirely over. Meanwhile, Robert Wilson was holding the mic and singing his heart out.

Robert was an excellent singer. Back in middle school, he had represented the class in performances, which was why he caught Megan Davis's attention.

The song was called "Sea of Freedom," and Robert sang it with all his might, as if venting all his inner grievances and dissatisfaction through the song.

After the song ended, many people applauded.

I also clapped my hands.

Robert put down the mic and walked over.

"Robert, you're amazing!" Heather clapped her hands.

"No, no! I say, Charlie, why don't you sing a song too!" Robert said.

I quickly waved my hand and said, "I think I'll pass, you know I'm not great at it."

"Oh, don't be modest! You sing well enough. Heather, tell him," Robert urged.

"Sing a song!"
