How could this happen?
Wylie Davis stood there with an extremely grim expression.
He had indeed been negligent and hadn't considered the surveillance. He had used this trick several times before without any problems, so he was somewhat careless.
He hadn't expected that this kid actually got the surveillance footage and uploaded it online.

"Release him, hurry and release him!" The deputy chief shouted.
"Yes, sir!"
The nearby police officer responded and quickly came over to unlock the handcuffs on me.
"Ah, I really apologize!"
The deputy chief beamed with a friendly smile and walked over briskly, "This student, our Captain Davis has a fiery temper, and his words are a bit harsh. Please don't take it to heart."
"Now, there's nothing more, you can go."
The deputy chief's smile was excessively enthusiastic, perhaps even somewhat overly so.
This scene left Wylie Davis in a daze.
