I stood in place, feeling a tinge of unease in my heart.
"B-bro…" the thug shouted again.
"Get lost!" I coldly reprimanded.
Like receiving amnesty, the thug quickly scampered away, disappearing instantly.
"Charlie, what's going on?" Nicole asked.
Immediately, I explained the situation with Teacher Richardson and Russell Bell.
"This is too despicable; they're totally unqualified to be a teacher!" Nicole bit her silver teeth, speaking with some indignation.
After pondering for a moment, I took out my phone and dialed Teacher Richardson's number. Last night, I had saved Teacher Richardson's number.
It rang over a dozen times, but no one answered.
"No answer?" Nicole said.
I shook my head.
Then, I checked the time; it was past eight thirty.
Teacher Richardson usually prepares lessons at school and generally leaves after eight, so she should have left by now. Her residence was in the neighborhood near the school.
It's only about seven or eight minutes from the school gate.
