The door opened. Vex Morningstar stood there, his ancient eyes studying us with almost clinical interest.
"Fascinating," he said, his voice calm. "Silver Moon bloodline. I wondered if any remained. And you've found the old texts. How resourceful."
The dominance aura hit us like a physical wave. Ezra, Drake, Luca, and Marcus all dropped to their knees, unable to resist. I remained standing, my Silver Moon power flaring to counter the Primordial's influence, but it took every ounce of strength I had.
"You're stronger than most," Vex observed, walking closer. "But still just a child playing with power you don't understand. Your ancestors knew their place. They served as enforcers of Primordial will, not challengers to it. You've forgotten the old ways."
"The old ways were tyranny," I managed to say, my voice strained from the effort of resisting his power. "The Moon Goddess created balance for a reason."
